Now if you're looking to have an absolutely ball and be depressed when they close because you have to leave. Albanco is your place. Oh wait it already is. Jake also know as "focaccia wizard" is the Gordon Ramsey of Gordon Ramsey's. Now if you're planned on just going to albanco one time do not order food. I've never been the biggest coffee gal, but Al Banco's coffee is prepared with such care that it is absolutely delicious and will have you coming back for more. The owners/baristas know more about coffee than you could even imagine, carefully and consistently tracking/researching the best roasts or techniques for making coffee. The shop has a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Absolutely the best place to get coffee in Great Falls by a landslide. I wholeheartedly recommend checking it out if you can!! read more

First time at Al Blanco. Not sure if our waitress/barista this morning didn't know how to make coffee or if this is just how the coffee always is. Ordered a macchiato that was overly sweet & luke warm. Couldn't get myself to take more than a couple of sips so ordered a drip that was burnt and tasted like aged vinegar. Food was very good, but someone needs to work on their coffee making skills! read more

Fantastic coffee and I really enjoyed the food. Yes the menu is small but given that they are using local, seasonal ingrediants and change the menu frequently I can totally live with that. I'd rather have a few really good items than a couple dozen that are sub par. With that said the tomato soup is the best I've had in town and I love the vegi bacon goat cheese sandwich. read more

I'm a big specialty coffee person and Al Banco is my favorite coffee shop. I've been to quite a few places, mainly in Dallas because that's where I go to college but Al Banco is the best. The have a lot of interesting options and I would say they're the only real specialty shop in GF. Jesse, the barista/co-owner, is a coffee genius and loves to help you understand coffee and decide what to get. Everyone that works here is very friendly and it's family owned. Also they have a lot of locally sourced products. They're very intentional about it. The food is also amazing. They're way ahead of the curve, especially for Great Falls. It's really refreshing to have a coffee shop that really makes great specialty coffee and delicious food! Thank you Al Banco! read more

I took a friend here for lunch, our first visit, and was quite embarrassed. We decided to order the pasta of the day (something with lamb) and a spring salad to share. The pasta was so dry; the meat was almost invisible and tasteless, and the portion was beyond tiny. The salad was fresh, but also extremely small for a supposed full-size lunch item - no bigger portion than a small orange. It was supposed to have Gorgonzola cheese on it, but we couldn't find anything more than a few fine shavings, and it too was very dry as the dressing seemed sparse. You wait on yourself, get your own water etc. The only time we saw a server was when they took our order and we paid - but they did make sure to have the tipping app pop up on the payment screen...not sure what could possibly account for earning a tip. All in all, it was very expensive, not tasty, and we left hungry. It makes me sad that people open restaurants in GF that are doomed to fail. This one won't be around long..... read more
