Had a great experience getting grab-and-go premade foods from this HMart!…read more Of what we got, the highlight was the crab cakes. It was more of an egg omelet cooked with some crab rather than a lump of mostly crab meat, but it was soft, savory, and delicious. The kimbap was also delicious and was restaurant quality for less than restaurant prices. Unlike the Central Square location, this HMart does not have a Paris Baguette inside or a seating area in the front, so you'll need to take your grab-and-go items somewhere else to eat. The variety of items was about the same though, with premade korean foods, premade sushi and sashimi, and many aisles of Asian frozen foods, produce, and packaged foods. I would definitely come back here again!

The location is prime and this is such a great addition to Davis Square. This supermarket had lots of food, drink, and skincare options. Like other Hmarts, they also carry typical brands and I found everything I needed just fine despite worrying it wouldn't have everything because it was slightly smaller. It was pretty packed when I went during lunch but checkout didn't take too long. There's a promotion where you can get a free mug if you're a member with the option to get a kimbap packet or strawberry milk for $1 if you spend over $50. Everything was fresh, clean and service was quick! Staff was at every corner and everyone was helpful.

My company ordered some platter from Stop & Shop for a Townhall we were holding in Somerville. to…read moremy surprise, platters were fabulous. we had about 30 men and only spent about $300 to feed everybody, actually, we had too much food. we ordered four platters of sandwiches some wraps and some on sub rolls that were cut obviously for a platter. we also had fruit trays and vegetable trays three of each. All the platters looked fabulous. The sandwiches were actually stuffed with meat and cheese and vegetables. As for the fruit and the veggies, the platter with super fresh. I think I found my new place to go for inexpensive big platters. They're worth every penny. The great thing about being at Stop & Shop picking up these platters we also were able to get a bunch of sodas, plates, plastic knives, and forks, etc. one stop shopping. As with All stopping shops, they have a large parking lot so parking is not a problem. I'm not sure of the cleanliness of the store as I did not enter. They were ordered on the phone and others picked up the platters. But all the Stop & Shop that I have gone in uphold a supermarket cleanliness. Anyway, I would definitely suggest if you want to get a platter for $30 or $40 or $50 to feed a few friends during a football game or a family get together. This is the place.

Selling old , stale moldy cakes, this store should just close down before they kill someone . These cakes were so over priced. I hope my daughter doesn't get food poisoning. I'm done with this awful store.

Star Market and I have a long history together. One of my greatest regrets from my first year…read moreliving in Cambridge was that I didn't have the Star Market app. I could have been saving so much money! I could have known when the shrimp sales would happen instead of checking in person every day! But hindsight is 20/20, and I'm happy to be a loyal user of the app today. Yes, Star Market is on the more expensive side for most things. I will usually go elsewhere (Trader Joe's, Costco, Hmart Burlington) for necessities that are overpriced at Star Market. BUT their weekly ads and app-exclusive deals can be amazing, and you can get ridiculously cheap or free things. 25 cent 5lb bag of potatoes or pack of blueberries? Free kimchi with the Saturday Sampler? 67c/lb stone fruits? Whenever something I want is on sale (or free) at Star Market, I stock up. Especially during shrimp sales (it goes down to $4.97/lb, so I wait for that). And there's usually at least one good deal in produce so we're never lacking. So yeah, Star Market is expensive if you're not using the app and buying everything from there. But if you use the app to plan out exactly what great deals you'll take advantage of, it can really enhance your food supply. This location itself is spacious and nice, and I've always had a good experience interacting with employees. I always use self-checkout which works just fine. I would also recommend going earlier in the day for produce (especially if it's on sale), because usually at the end of the day only the beat up stuff is left (I'm looking at you, jalapenos).

There is a Starbucks at this location that is randomly left unattended with no way of knowing when…read moreit will be staffed again. If you ask other employees in the store about it, they will all look at you like a deer in headlights and be useless. Also, if you ever shop here after 9pm, there will be a ridiculous obstacle course of stock carts in the way, blocking aisles, shelves, and refrigerator doors. Not sure how this wouldn't be considered a safety hazard, not to mention the obvious fact that it's terrible for sales and customer service to be blocking customers from the products they are there to buy. The time of day is no excuse. Don't be open for those hours if you can't properly accommodate customers who want or need to shop at that time.

Star Market - New addition: More exotic, hard-to-find spices and herbs than what's usually in the spice aisle. E.g. fenugreek and Madras curry powder.
