If you're looking for a hotel with lots of amenities, then do not stay here, as this is not a hotel. It's located on a former vineyard, which explains their names, but it located near vineyards as well. They are very well known for their food and restaurant, but to stay here for a good nights sleep is affordable since it's on the outskirts from the main city center. The best and freshest food I've had so far during my travel through Rome, Verona, Florence will be here. The food here is phenomenal with the traditional yet contemporary twists of Tuscany style food. This place puts to shame the "G" green rating of American restaurants that boasts about local and organic ingredients. First off their salad taste like it was just picked! The reason is the intense quality control of their food from knowing that their food sources come from a local farm where there are specific parameters of their pork and beef without any form of chemicals. You will not find any style cut of this kind of meat anywhere in the U.S. Andrea even asked the kitchen staff to create a dish that I described that wasn't on the menu which tasted fresh from the ocean. Just describe to Andrea the owner/host of the place what you are in the mood for and he will help guide you that will suit your taste palate. They offer wine by the bottle at reasonable prices. I am already missing their food and great service here, and would stay here again.

EXCELLENT spot and so worth going to for a meal. If you are looking for a tourist trap…read moreevery-table-filled spot don't come here, but if you are looking for a genuine Italian gem, where you can grab a bite to eat or a full coursed meal feeling like you hit the Italian jackpot this is your new home. They seem to change their meals regularly, so not sure if they will have this always, but the spaghetti carbonara with seafood was absolutely out of this world good. Not too heavy and the seafood was a surprisingly great addition. The extra touch like the starter Prosecco and the bread were so welcomed and unlike most other restaurants. The bread...seriously it deserves its own review. The buttery focaccia and the curry bread was mouthwatering. Our waiter, Juan, was incredibly attentive and accommodating, even switching to Spanish when he realized my Italian was abhorrent (he also spoke English very well). He made great suggestions and if we didn't finish every drop on our plate he only gave us a mild look of sadness and disappointment, as opposed to the Italian scolding you normally receive. The only real negative is that if you go here on the first night you probably are going to spend the rest of your trip reminiscing about how great it was, searching the other towns for something like it, and good luck with that! That combo of delicious, authentic, passionate, and quiet is more elusive than a picture at the tower of Pisa without someone else taking a photo pretending to hold it up. I hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Guys guys guys. Amazing food and service. We Had the octopus for app, seafood soup (pictured),…read morecalamari, and the plum dessert, and wine of course. Best food we've had in Italy hands down and the owner was very kind. He also gave a great wine recommendation. Also side note if you're from the US it's very affordable. Presentation is great. I would've paid easily $200-$300 for something like this where I live.

Al Corso - I wanted my wife to smuggle the rest in her purse. She wouldn't do it. We may be headed to divorce.

Al Corso - Seafood carbonara. There was a much fancier name in Italian that I can do no justice.
