We went to Chef Ed's collaboration dinner with Brother Fox's chef Darian Hernandez. It took place…read moreat Hernandez's restaurant and it was a fantastic night! The dinner was perhaps the best one I have attended in Pensacola! Just to make it even better, it was sponsored by Rombauer Wine. Some of the served wines were 70-80 dollars a bottle retail! The meal was 5 courses over several hours. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. Each wine was served in its own fresh, proper varietal glass, which were then whisked away as soon as they were empty. There was even a complementary cocktail to start the meal. We arrived 20 minutes early and we were invited to join some other guests in the bar to wait for the meal to start. We ordered cocktails and as we waited Chef Hernandez had an Amuse Bouche passed by the servers that was a tostone blini topped with a manchego crema, then caviar. Holy Hell! That bite was fantastic! Way to Spanish it up Darian! Very inventive! The first course was Crab Stuffed Piquillo Peppers with lump crab, salsa verde, romesco and garlic bread crumbs. Not a bad start at all, but I did find some shell in my crab. It was served with Rombauer Sauvignon Blanc. Nice pairing. The second course was Chef Ed's and it was hand rolled Butternut Squash Stuffed Tortellini with a sorghum browned butter and pickled ramps. The pairing was with a Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay. Delicious! The third course was again Brother Fox and it was Braised Beef Cheeks Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, with mushroom and turnip duxelle, beef consomme and truffle foam. It was paired with Rombauer Napa Valley Merlot. Awesome, and not too heavy on the truffles. Fourth in line was my absolute favorite. Chef Ed made Elk Tenderloin with black garlic bone marrow, a parsnip puree, and smoked cherries. Pairing; Rombauer Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. I mean come on! Elk is my favorite protein! You make this one just for little ole me Ed? The 5th and final course was a Chocolate Mousse with ganache, raspberry and a cookie crumbled hazelnut brittle. Pairing: Rombauer California Zinfandel. It was good, real good. I just don't really eat sweets. I loved the Zin though! This was a night to remember with the type of meal and service that you could expect in Chicago, Nashville, NYC etc. this was not your usual Pensacola on the Gulf Coast type of affair. Outstanding! I would have given 10 stars if I could have.

Worst frozen reheated food I've ever had in my life... We…read morehired Naman's to cater our wedding, and throughout the entire process we were not impressed. The samples given at the planning meeting for our initial choice of pasta bar was obviously the cheapest possible jarred Alfredo and meat sauce for the spaghetti and Alfredo. We decided to give it another chance and payed about 2-3 dollars more per person for a 150 person venue to get the bourbon glazed chicken and brisket with au jus. Neither looked appetizing, neither could be cut with a knife due to how tough and dry they were. The brisket could've passed for unseasoned beef jerky, and the chicken was just a frozen grilled chicken breast. The sides were okay, canned green beans, which I was okay with but my wife was expecting a little more. Seasoning or anything would've been nice. The mashed potatoes were nothing to write home about. The rolls were sister Schubert's frozen rolls which are impossible to mess up so at least there's that. Service was good, the only reason this place even deserves the minimum one star allowed.

(Better than the priciest hotel on the Eastern Shore.) Punctual! No drama. Our servers were extremely helpful, with smiles. Brunch was delicious! Yummy Breakfast Quiche and cheese grits. High quality taste. Set up well. Service, the best! Mr. Naman is always kind. The sales lady was patient and informative. Nice menu selection and variety. Breads, delicious. Never ran out of food or drink! Guests raved at how delicious the brunch was. I highly recommend. I would definitely consider Naman's for a wedding reception. They will travel and cater to the Eastern Shore. Thank you, Namans!

Katy's catered my wedding rehearsal and wedding reception. Granted the first wedding planner was a…read moreflake so I had to find all vendors myself at the last minute. We had taco and tamale bar for rehearsal. It was overpriced for what we received and the beef was greasy ground beef. I first thought she made the tamales which were delicous but after the wedding reception I realized she probably purchased them and charged me to pick the up. The wedding rehearsal dinner was way over priced. She charged me $50 for a "iced tea station" which was a pitcher of tea that came from a plastic jug like the one i purchased a publix for $2. This is just poor business practice. The sushi came in a box from Rouse's and I was charged more than it would cost to get it from Rouse's (her pick up fee). The first esitmate I received included server for my rehearsal and 2 servers for the reception. I told her I didn't need a server for the rehearsal and I only needed one for the reception. Due to covid we only had about 20 people. She charged more for the small group. When you might pay $23 per person she charged me $30. That was the first issue but I was desparate to get a caterer and she knew it. I amended the estimate to tell her I didn't need a server for rehearsal and I needed only one for reception. I kep asking for an edited estimate but didn't get one with the changes I requested. I had to pay cash because she doens't take credit cards or venmo. We ended up paying $50 more for our food than before the changes and still only had one server at reception. We paid for two nad only had one. On wedding day she came back to bring reception food and pick up utensils and dishes from night before. Fortunately i had someone supervising and she noticed Katy herself rinsing utensils to be resued for reception without any soap or any kind of disinfectant. Gross! My attendant went and retrieved soap from the other kitchen to wash dirty utensils and dishes Katy was going to use again. When I addressed the $50 pitcher of tea she was flippant and rude. All she had to do was refund the tea. I can see several reviews with 5 ratings and I wonder how long ago this was but again I also see many reviews with similar issues as mine. Simple refund for services I did not receive would be acceptable and this review may have been much higher. What a disappointment.

They provided multiple meals over several days and were reliable, hospitable, and served good, quality food. They also took feedback well and made adjustments based on the preferences of the group. Definitely worth considering for group meals when in the area!
