Staff was nice and held my bags while I explored the area before check in. Decently clean; not as gross as others have said but yes, a bit run down. I think it is on par with budget hotels these days. Room had double lock; felt safe Shower was warm and toilet worked. Bed was okay. Comfortable but could hear the plastic mattress cover right under the sheets when moving about. Cons: No soap. Or shampoo. I've never seen that. My room had no remote. I asked for one. It turned on the sound but no picture. I gave up. No elevator; steps in and steps to many rooms. This was on the website so I wasn't surprised. One pillow per person and one small towel per person. No mini fridge and no ice available. Skunk sprayed outside so room has smelled all day/night (coming in through air conditioner; 1st floor room) Someone has been getting sick outside the room for the past half hour. Daytime had lots of noise from nearby homes, kids, music, banging as though someone was putting up siding All in all, it's safe, inexpensive, and no frills. I am staying one night before a cruise. This is fine for my needs. I would stay here again. Safety and cost are great. Bummers might be one offs, except for the soap. Soap should be provided!

We booked this Motel 6 based on the photos and amenities advertised online, but unfortunately our…read moreexperience was very different from what was represented. The photos used in the listing do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the property. One of our biggest concerns was parking. There is no dedicated hotel parking lot, only limited street parking that is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We were also unable to find a single designated handicap parking space. As the spouse of a disabled veteran, accessibility is extremely important to us. We found the property to be difficult to navigate and not particularly handicap-friendly. We also discovered that many of the electrical outlets were so loose that my husband's CPAP machine could not remain plugged in reliably, which is a serious issue for someone who depends on medical equipment while sleeping. Because of these concerns, we made the decision to cancel our stay before check-in. We actually visited the property the day before our scheduled arrival specifically to make sure it would meet our needs. After seeing the conditions in person, we knew it would not be suitable. Despite providing more than 24 hours' notice and never occupying the room, the property refused to refund our reservation. We are now having to dispute the charge through our credit card company. Had the property been accurately represented online and provided the accessibility features we reasonably expected, we never would have made the reservation in the first place.

Had a parking lot but some were reserved and you will be towed if you park there but they warn you when you check in. They had free coffee in the morning. Checking out was easy. They had cameras everywhere...so felt sort of safe Cons: They charge for parking. We stayed for one day and it was $9.90. One of the elevators qwas broken do only one was being used. Windows are dirty and missing screens so bugs kept coming inside our room and hallways. The carpet in hallway are stained. We found a dead cockroach and had to squish a silverfish. Cabinets were broken, we found out after taking a price of tissue out of the drawer opening and realized it was there to keep it closed. The closet looks like a cabinet foot a psych ward. The bathroom was not as clean as we thought, found stains in the floor. The couch has a cigarette smell and I found a burn mark. The outlets had some that work and some that didn't. The sink faucet was hard to use. We had to pull hard for water to come out. We could hear people taking in the hallways, next door, and other weird noises. It was spring break so this was the only place with a two bed accommodation I can find, but for $200 a night not sure if it was worth it after the experience...

I was pleasantly surprised there is complimentary rides to cruise terminal on cruise mornings about 10-15min drive! Was given till 11:40am to checkout of room since was scheduled for shuttle. You have to stand at their front door in the heat. Waited about 30 mins for the shuttle to come. Long wait. Quick breakfast grab and go offered free 7-11am. AC works! Kept me cool, a must in LA. Ton of fast food options within few blocks, walkable Cons- Walls are thin and can be loud. Tv doesn't work well, very old should be replaced, controller lagged or does not respond. And then sometimes the tv screen is stuck on no connection status, seriously can't rely on using it. Wi-Fi doesn't always connect. Pool is small Conclusion- Would return and stay again if going on a cruise, If you aren't high maintenance and understand you get what you pay for and that it's an older motel. Good sushi restaurant right next door literally you can get quick food back to hotel, would eat there again too

The front desk said there was nothing they could do for 3 days as they had no other rooms , even though it was obvious there were many other open rooms. We spent $100 to clear the air with candles and an air purifier. The manager offered a 20% per night discount and then at the end did not honor the discount at checkout. The manager even had the nerve to say i should not have spent my $100 because it was the hotels reasonability to fix the smell. what a joke they did nothing to help. To add to ot the AC was not working properly. overall we checked out early and the Manager asked if I was stupid and did not honor anything he promised. I would give a 0 star rating if possible.
