First time staying in IHG hotel. Check-in was simple. Water (citrus-infused)/ample seating area…read moreare nice touches. Parking is underground at the Enterprise return car lot. Self-parking is $25/night. Not too many spots since many are allocated for valet. Room is simple, included fridge, coffee machine for pods. Fluffy pillows. Our bathroom had a seat in the tub and handheld shower head. Never seen this before. WiFi is better than most hotels. Must sign up for IHG to get it. We saw lots of folks in the jacuzzi and pool. The jets in the jacuzzi are powerful. I got to try out the next day. Restaurant looked nice. There is also a market if you want to grab something quick. Staff are great. Drop keys in box for check-out. Not bad for one night stay.

As a proud Yelp Elite member, I don't hand out glowing reviews lightly, but this stay at Crowne…read morePlaza San Pedro deserves every star available--and then some. From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel welcomed. The hotel is spotless, and you can tell the housekeeping staff takes incredible pride in what they do. Emma at the front desk was wonderful--kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant deserves 20 stars if Yelp would let me give them. Breakfast was hands-down one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. A special shoutout to the gentleman who served me--I believe his name was Daniel (forgive me if I got that wrong)--who made every morning start with a smile. May health and wealth follow him wherever he goes. And then there was Genka--the sweetest little snack fairy floating through the hotel spreading joy. I wasn't even sure I deserved the surprise goodies, but she blessed me with a Sprite and some Scooby Snacks and somehow made my day brighter. Watching her happily take care of guests was enough to make anyone smile. Now let's talk about that pool area. Absolutely beautiful, especially at night. The pool is gorgeous, but the real star is the jacuzzi. Those jets don't play around--they hit like a luxury spa and practically massage every ache away. After a long day, sitting under the night sky with those powerful jets felt like a mini vacation inside my vacation. In a world where people are quick to complain, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the people doing things right. Every single person I encountered here was kind, hardworking, and genuinely cared. Also, I would like to shout out Amanda, the tender of the bar for the beautiful service and for being so nice. To management: these people deserve a raise. They are the reason guests return. Thank you, Crowne Plaza San Pedro, for reminding me what real hospitality looks like. Between the amazing staff, the incredible breakfast, the sparkling clean property, and that heavenly spa-like jacuzzi, you've earned a lifelong fan. Room 933 James Toney and Richelle Olson. Signed, A very grateful Yelp Elite member who came for a hotel stay and left feeling spoiled.#YelpElite #CrownePlazaSanPedro #HealthAndWealth #HospitalityDoneRight #SpaVibes #SanPedro

Pros: a lot more reasonable than other Long Beach/San Pedro hotels. By hundreds…read more Good location--can walk to many restaurants. Free WiFi. Staff was nice and held my bags while I explored the area before check in. Decently clean; not as gross as others have said but yes, a bit run down. I think it is on par with budget hotels these days. Room had double lock; felt safe Shower was warm and toilet worked. Bed was okay. Comfortable but could hear the plastic mattress cover right under the sheets when moving about. Cons: No soap. Or shampoo. I've never seen that. My room had no remote. I asked for one. It turned on the sound but no picture. I gave up. No elevator; steps in and steps to many rooms. This was on the website so I wasn't surprised. One pillow per person and one small towel per person. No mini fridge and no ice available. Skunk sprayed outside so room has smelled all day/night (coming in through air conditioner; 1st floor room) Someone has been getting sick outside the room for the past half hour. Daytime had lots of noise from nearby homes, kids, music, banging as though someone was putting up siding All in all, it's safe, inexpensive, and no frills. I am staying one night before a cruise. This is fine for my needs. I would stay here again. Safety and cost are great. Bummers might be one offs, except for the soap. Soap should be provided!

Manager is rude af and was very pleased that I got charged a no show. Customer service is pretty much worthless too. Avoid this place at all costs. Pay extra to go to a motel that actually has customer service.
