He booked Jeanette and she was a delight to work with. The pedicab was a surprise for me, and I had the best time exploring Downtown San Jose. Jeanette arrived on time, was very professional, and I felt safe at all times with her as the driver. She was open to any stops that we wanted to go to, was helpful with taking photos for us, and was very flexible with the time. (We went a couple of hours overtime and she was gracious about it.) Fast forward to a year later, my husband booked them again for our one year anniversary. Again, it was a surprise for me. He essentially recreated our first date, and ended up proposing to me at Christmas in the Park. Our pedicab driver was great and took video footage and photos of the proposal for us. Priceless memories that I'll always cherish! When it was time to plan our wedding, we wanted to incorporate the pedicab somehow. We reached out to Jeanette, and ended up renting one of their pedicabs and had a friend drive us into the wedding reception as part of our grand entrance. We surprised our guests and they all loved it! We used the pedicab afterwards as a prop for photos for all our guests and it was a huge hit! We weren't sure where to start but knew that we wanted a pedicab for each of our 5 teams to help people get around. Upon visiting the Golden Gate Pedicab website, I saw that they listed scavenger hunts as one of the events they had experience with so I contacted them to see what they could do. Working primarily with Oskar and John, they quickly got back to me with a very reasonable, all inclusive quote...meaning they would plan the stops and write clues for all five teams, provide five pedicabs and drivers for the hour, with gratuity included in the rate! We jumped at the opportunity to have someone with experience and knowledge of the area plan the scavenger hunt for us. We received the clues a few days later and they were all fantastic! (5 clues for each team) On the day of our event, we went downstairs at ~5:00pm and the pedicabs were waiting in front of our building. Teams quickly matched up with their driver and started scavenging. Based on feedback from our employees, each of the drivers was great, taking photos for the teams, joining in on some photos, and having an overall good time with our employees. We invited them all in to Red's to have some food and drinks afterwards. Golden Gate Pedicab provided an awesome service and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for something similar in San Francisco!

It's not cheap but these people bust their butts riding a bunch of people around in the hot sun. It was a good experience and the riders were extremely friendly. Because I have issues with my knee and lower back my friends decided to get the pedicab and I'm glad they did. I would definitely use their services again if the need arises.

Rob, our pedicab driver with a lean…read moreLance Armstrong physique, somehow spotted us city girls and kindly offered to give us a complimentary ride on his pedicab to point out all the cute boutiques down Main Street. Since there were 4 of us, and the pedicab could only seat 3, he took 2 of us first and went back for our other friends after he dropped us off on the other end of Main St. at Crepevine, where we wanted to grab a bite to eat. The pedicab ride was so much fun! The ride was smooth and we got to listen to music that was playing from his iPod speakers while he gave us a mini tour of Main St. It was such a treat since we were from out of town and it was much nicer than walking 3 blocks in 105 degree heat! We felt a bit like royalty and couldn't help but wave at strangers walking along the street. We were able to ride for free because of a special NoMa (North Main St) shopping event, but we learned that they typically only gives rides Thursday-Sunday evenings in the downtown area. You can call them to book a ride or just wave them down if you see them in the neighborhood. Another great thing about their service is that not only do they take you from place to place, they are happy to suggest places for you to shop/eat/have fun!

This is a great way to sight see around SOMA while also getting to savor some delicious microbrews at local breweries. The tour guide we had was great. He explained some of the history of each of the breweries we visited (Thirsty Bear, Black Hammer, and Local) and quickly navigated through traffic. We got some great suggestions for what to try based on our preferences at every place we went. This tour is very well planned because there are snacks and food available along the way, and important thing if you're going to be enjoying some brews! The pours were generous, the tour was well done, and this is an all around good time.

With the sketchy stories of Uber/Lyft and already sketchy cabs, this is the perfect mode of transportation to get you to any letter or number street your Downtown heart desires! I called them to see if I could do a private usage with them and they were super easy to work with. I know most know or use them for small rides, but I wanted to plan what I deemed a 'Surprise Adventure' of Christmas light gazing through the Fab 40's. I didn't want to walk. I didn't want to drive. So I was stuck, until I remembered seeing RCR near the G1 center recently AND I follow them on Social Media, so that was probably why they were top of mind! The rent out their pedicab services by the hour if you want to do something private, but NORMALLY they only ask for tips for their shorter rides. How cool is that?! No flat fee, just a tip for their service. It kinds gives me anxiety to have to think if I'm paying enough for their service, but then I remember I'm an adult and that if this is my hardest decision then I'm living a good life! After chatting with Jeff, the owner and our pedicab dude, he said there are 12 pedicabs in total, which seat up to 5 people, some only are 2 seaters. Jeff was awesome and kept great conversation during our entire ride, he also came equipped with Christmas music already set when we opened our front door. The pedicab feels completely safe and I never once thought it was unsafe. They even had a seat belt if you wanted to wear it. They also brought a blanket, since these chilly Sactown nights are brutal sometimes. I can't rave enough about their customer service or their actual service. If you're lazy like me, then you'll love the likes of RCR. Letting all the Grid kids get anywhere without surge pricing!!

Jeff and his crew were amazing and fun each bike even played the music that we wanted (oldies). Jeff even decorated the rickshaws for us. He's an awesome business owner and I highly recommend using his services.
