So I decided to sneak the homemade street vendor gunpowder-fuse-paper things home, in my carry-on. I got as far as Singapore before an alert customs official confiscated them and low-key interrogated my dad. Fun times, that. -- In any case, Liberty is nothing like the shady third-world stand featured in this story. I ordered the "Liberty Assortment" - a $140 variety pack - from their website and picked her up two hours later. I was expecting a line, but they had about ten employees fielding online orders and I was in and out in about 23 seconds. Excepting a Twister Fountain that separated into two pieces and was unusable - my order was exactly as described and a provided suburb bang for the buck. Though lacking in gunpowder-fuse-paper balls, the assortment did include all sorts of stuff that had no business being set off in the middle of a city street, so that was nice.

We caught up to the train and took a ride, so nice as the wind blows through the train. We got to see a baby deer! And some squirrels. So pretty!
