He was very attentive to us during the shoot and had a lot of ideas for different shots. He took his time getting the shots and was professional and courteous throughout the experience. He was friendly and helped us feel comfortable during the shoot. The photos were both posed and candid. The photos were ready for review a few hours after the shoot. Fernando was upfront about the prices, the options, and the process which I appreciate. We also had help from the two other ladies working at dreamart when we were narrowing down our favorite photos. Their photography skills and post production processing is perfect. This is my second photo shoot with my family using DreamArt.  I made my reservation with Melissa prior to my arrival so that I could get the best time slot. The last was in Nuevo Vallarta and Playa's team stepped it their game even more.   We have a giant canvas print in our living room and we're anxious about next trip to when we'd do another photo shoot with DreamArt. In the States you would easily pay thousands more for the shoot and then for the prints. Not the case here.... We sat down and chose the digital prints we wanted and I ordered prints through Costco online back in my room ready for pick-up when I got back home. Farid, our photographer, was phenomenal and took very good care of our needs. My oldest son is disabled and therefore doesn't sit or stand. Positioning him to make the pictures as natural as possible was no simple feat. We canptured over 100 pictures that we had an issue of choosing from. I found them while scrolling through Instagram because I had no idea where to begin the photographer search in Mexico. I was drawn to every photo I saw and immediately reached out. While booking, Bohemia Photography was super flexible and easy to work with. We didn't know how long we wanted photographers there so they allowed us to add hours whenever we wanted. We ended up adding multiple hours and we are so glad we did. On the big day, Misti and Collin were the best to work with. Their presence was extremely calming and they knew exactly how to get all of the great shots of us. I am very uncomfortable in front of a camera. They also helped organize our wedding party and family to make sure everyone was where they needed to be and when at the resort. When we got our sneak peaks back, our jaw literally hit the floor. The pictures are STUNNING. I am still in disbelief that they are of us. Once we got all of our photos back there quite honestly isn't a bad photo out of hundreds of photos we got. We absolutely loved working with Misti and Collin and would do it 100 times over again.

My husband and I got married in Playa at the Mahekal Beach Resort at a sunset ceremony. Our day was perfect but rainy. We had hired a different photographer and our "couple session" after our ceremony was rushed and only shoots taken were posed ones on the beach. Not what we were looking for. I was so upset. Knowing we would be in Playa Del Carmen a few days more I wanted to take more candid shots around town. Our original photographer, who was rude to me, my husband and our family during our first session, said he would do it for a pretty high costs- I thought anyway. So to Google I went. After reading all the 5 star reviews and seeing Bohemia's photo gallery I just knew they were the photographer for us. (Where were they when I was first looking - no clue.) I sent an email to them (giving them a 24 hour notice to when I wanted pics taken) and within an hour of sending my "help I'm in a panic and need new pics taken tomorrow" email Misty had emailed me back and we had a time set up for the next day and she had several locations by our hotel that we could shoot at that would give us the look and feel of the photos we desired. When rain was likely the day of they were super accommodating to move our shoot up an hour all while getting a rental car so we wouldn't have to walk in the rain. (Who does that?!) We ended up shooting at so many amazing locations and went 2 hours over our time/agreement and they just went with it to get the shot. They even bought us a beer when the rain started to pass the time. Also, they didn't charge us for the overage! I do not think we could have had a better experience. They went way above and beyond and made sure the shoot was fun and exactly what we wanted. Not what they thought we would like. Also, they are great about showing you how to pose your body to get the best angle for the shot. I would hire these two in a second again. Oh- and we had 10 awesome sneak peek pics in our inbox not even 48 hours after the shoot. They are fantastic too. If you are reading this and are looking for a photographer for your special day- hire them now! I promise you will not regret it. I only wish I found them for our ceremony and reception.

We were so excited to see the Photos/Videos to come. I had added a Photo Booth for the reception but it was unfortunately forgotten by the team. Of course that's a bummer but, what're ya gonna do. I waited to ask for an ETA (July 22), estimate was ~2m, and about a refund on the photo booth. Was told they were being worked on and Photo booth refund was incoming. We got our first teaser video 9/2, almost 4 months later. He posted some of our photos to Facebook 9/3 and we got our edited gallery 9/4. When we did finally get the rest (full video/unedited photos) our Ceremony was not in it. After another email it was added. We eventually got our full order November 24th, nearly 6 months later. The photos are beautiful (the video is alright) and worth the wait but some updates would have gone a long way. Being a bride not sure you're ever going to get your full order is a terrible feeling. The pricing is super fair. just be fully prepared to wait. We are nearing a year and I still have not received a refund for the forgotten photo booth. Ivan has stopped answering my emails.

She was efficient and always on time. She never seemed bothered by all the changes, and even if new stuff came in, she would suggest it! I just honestly can't say how much I appreciated Archive and Lucy. We wanted our wedding to look like TULUM, and they did just that. Even the bartenders at our wedding said they felt like they were there, but in Playa Mujeres. I could go on and on about my experience with Archive but it's going to sound redundant. In order to keep my review honest, the ONLY compliant I had was that two napkins went "missing" from our wedding. Did a guest take them on accident? Did the hotel lose them? Did archive miscount/lose them? Who knows, but I got charged for those which sucked. But in the grand scheme of things, that's nothing. Archive/Lucy worked so well with all of my other vendors and I just felt like I could walk away and focus on my big day and had NOTHING to worry about. I even had them design a custom piece for me that turned out AMAZING! AND I had her on the lookout for certain chairs I "had to have" and she got them! I never write reviews, bad or otherwise, and wasn't going to for Archive, but when we got the final total and saw that they charged us $21 to replace EACH napkin that was stained with lipstick, I had to warn people about this. Since most women wear lipstick to weddings, I'd think lipstick on napkins is normal wear-and-tear, but apparently it ruins them, so be prepared to pay to replace a lot of napkins or ask your guests to take off their lipstick before dinner. Also, some of the merchandise online is misrepresented and what you see is not what you get. I went for the boho look and got the brass flatware. It looks simple and elegant and vintage-y online. What I got looked like something from Medieval Times, and instead of salad forks, I got several tiny shrimp forks. I was a little embarrassed that our guests thought I chose that. The Bingham tables have a plywood top and are stained dark, so definitely factor that in and get a tablecloth or something to cover it. I picture the items being stored in a damp warehouse because of the musty smell coming from them (not wood or stain, but mustiness), so you'll want to cover that/them somehow. Online they look Pottery Barn, but in person, you'll probably be disappointed. Zero flexibility....the forecast was calling for rain, so a week before, I asked if it would be possible to cancel just the arch if needed because we'd have to move it inside. Nothing else...just the arch. Nope. But at the last minute, I was told she only factored in one delivery person and we actually needed two. So, they can make last minute changes, but you can't. If I had to do it again, I'd go with Minimal Rental, the other company we got a bid from. They seem smaller and family owned and their stuff looks VERY similar. Ultimately, I decided to pay more and go with Archive because I liked the table/table legs so much, so that was the deciding factor for me. And now you know how that turned out. To be fair, I want to list the good: the other dishes, goblets, and candle holders were beautiful and as pictured. They were prompt in replying to my emails and with delivery and pick-up. But overall, would not recommend.
