Over the course of 20 MONTHS, I called and left voicemails and emails no less than 100 times. I received a call back one time during this entire period... I understand that timelines get extended, but this was egregious. I only got them on the actual phone a handful of times during these back and forths. I ended up picking the car up incomplete (after 20 months!) with multiple paint imperfections and a clear spot of painted-over rust. Had the car been flawless after this period of time, I wouldn't be mad - but to take almost two years and not even have the paint finished is unacceptable. If you are not going through insurance, your car will be deprioritized. All of the welding / rust work was complete after only a few months of work, yet it took over a year longer of it sitting in their shop relatively untouched and endless calls to finally just pick it up unfinished with paint imperfections and trim still uninstalled. I told the shop I had already ordered the replacement parts and would need them to just install them. I was quoted a $125 amount over the phone for installation. I followed up with an additional call a day before bringing the vehicle down. I asked the shop what time would be ok for me to bring my vehicle down to have it worked on and was told 8am. I arrive at the shop a little after 8am and the shop goes out to check my vehicle and then proceeds to tell me that they cannot work on the car today after I had already prescheduled to meet with them this morning to have work done. I was very upset that my time was wasted driving up to the shop expecting to have services done, but instead told to come back because they weren't able to fix the car. I was told to come another day even though I had spoken to the shop about what was required to be done and I even had the parts on hand to fix it. I have been a customer of this shop for over 15 years alone. I have had multiple vehicles worked on in the past. This shop has worked on my sister's cars, my mother and father's cars and even my grandfather's cars since the early 1990's. There is a tremendous amount of help that this shop has done for my family, but today was a true testimony that the original owners soul no longer lives in this shop. Shop owner claimed the car was going to be ready by Tuesday, as Tuesday is coming up no updates whatsoever so i had to contact them first, owner proceeds to then tell me it wont be ready till sat or sun, i said thats fine. The work performed way miles away from what was agreed on, flares weren't glued on properly, they are misaligned addressed my concerns directly with the owner and provided detailed explanations regarding the issues with the work performed. However, he later claimed that my parts were not OEM, which is impossible because they were taken from an OEM Dodge Charger. The excessive quarter panel cut was also brought to his attention. Instead of acknowledging the concern, he insisted the work was "good" and refused to offer either a refund or even a partial refund to help cover the cost of having another shop correct the work. Unfortunately, the owner showed no willingness to take accountability for the quality of the job performed. The photos speak for themselves. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before bringing your vehicle here for any related body or widebody work.
