I got a full refresh on my 2018 340i. car was overheating and misfiring last minute before i got here. i had to changed oil filter housing ,valve cover, old pipes, new inner cooler and many more. their were able to tackled all in within 1month or so and top of that parts was the longest wait. Note; their shop was insanely filled with other cars and insanely busy. Andy and the crew was friendly and informative what i need to be done before things get hectic with the old pipes, so i pulled the triggered and did everything for future headaches. got the Car back and it feels super healthy and way more alive. Wanted a second opinion and folks on Reddit recommended this auto shop. Had the car towed here and Chao inspected the damages. He replaced something that only took 2 hours and a $125 part, and the car was totally fixed. In total, he charged us $200. Chao knew we weren't knowledgeable about cars yet was super honest with the repair. I now trust him 100% with all of my future car problems. They charged me $500 for this work. Originally it was $400 but I asked for the front splitter installed and that was another $100. I just felt like I was taking advantage off. To top it off the mirror caps wasn't installed correctly and I had another mechanic fix it. Anyways I found another mechanic that has been working on my car and wife's car that I fully trust. Not a rip off like this place. I didn't want to write this review but it's been nagging the hell out of me for how much I was charged for. He also suggested I should change my oil filter housing at 48k miles with no signs of coolant/oil leakages. Yes these are known to fail but no issues yet and I'm at 60k miles now. He said $1600 for OFH. My current mechanic can do for $1100 OE parts. My current mechanics has 8 lifts and are always busy, so no not some run of the mill shop that is low quality. Hope this helps someone out there. Edit: The owner sent me a fake invoice saying the job was $200. It was not $200. I was charged $500. I paid cash. I came in this recent Friday and needed to get a list of things done. The pricing was more then reasonable and the lady up front at the desk was very nice to me, and very helpful in understanding what I should get done. After a short while I got my call back and the truck was ready. What I appreciated the most from my experience was the honesty in Miyaki Motorsports, which seems to be a consistent theme in other reviews. I was happy to hear my truck was in really good condition and a lot of the work I had asked to get done was not necessary so they ended up not doing some of the work I had requested, they even did the PPI and did not charge me for it. Honesty is probably one of the hardest things to find when finding a quality mechanic, and that display of honesty from Miyaki to me will make me a customer for life moving forward, not only do they know their stuff, they won't take advantage of customers.
