Alan Showed up early, and did not mess around..... backed his truck in to our driveway right under the palms..... he could cut and throw all at once.....very efficient...... he got the job done from start to finish less than a couple of hours. This was the second time using Alan's services. Alan does a great job! He is a nice guy, very professional, and responds promptly. Both times we went with his services, he was able to get both jobs done that same day at a very reasonable price. The fact that he worked alone and was able to get all the work completed in one day and everything cleaned up after is quite remarkable. This last job he did, we both didn't notice a small vine plant that was missed. I contacted him, and the next day, he came back out and took care of it in a matter of minutes. I really appreciate that he came and completed the work that was agreed upon, even if it was just a small vine that only took a couple of minutes to remove. This company is not trustworthy. I had them do some tree trimming at my home in 2022. The owner says payment I made did not go thru so I issue a second payment for $125. Then I checked a few days later and that original payment I sent they cashed as well. I ask them on yelp on a private message to refund and they claim they will but that never happened. Called to make an appointment and Alan showed up very quickly. I didn't even have to show Alan which sprinkler head was broken. He fixed it very quickly and I was surprised how neatly the work was done. Very small hole and after the repair you couldn't even tell around the sprinkler head was repaired. Alan and his team showed up at 8am sharp and worked till sundown. They didn't blink an eye when dealing with our big trees. Everything came out so well, they cleaned up after themselves, and they even cleared the road intermittently throughout the job. Alan got me out of a jam , First off I had a monster of a tree that was hanging over my neighbors house that needed to be removed and I had a previous tree service basically give up on the job telling me they needed a lift and charge me more than previously discussed than they didn't answer my calls always had excuses . Found Alan's tree service on yelp sent them a message they were out here first thing in the morning gave me free estimate. They started the job a few days later despite all the obstacles and hazards my tree had they got the job done safely without damaging my neighbors home or my fence and they did it in 2 days without a lift. We had two large palm trees removed. From what we can tell so far, the work is good. He did a really good job cleaning up and it appears we only lost one plant in the process. Taking off one star for being two hours late to our scheduled appointment and a second star off for lack of communication. Being on time is important, but I understand things happen. When they do, client should be notified of delays - this shows you respect their time. We had to reach out to confirm he was still coming when he didn't show up as scheduled. He also stated he didn't know we wanted stumps ground out. This was clearly indicated in our initial request for a quote. My husband was home to oversee the project but Alan didn't communicate with him when he was coming and going. I had to work and had provided Alan with my husbands phone number and said he would be at the house if he needed anything. When he finished the work he didn't walk my husband through the job to make sure things were satisfactory and collect payment. When my husband realized he was gone I sent Alan a text and asked how to pay. Almost 2 hours later he replied his phone had died and told us to send payment through Zelle. We sent it to the number we had been contacting him at as we weren't advised otherwise. An hour and a half later he said it didn't go through and asked us to send funds to another phone number. After checking our account we confirmed the funds were delivered and provided him the transaction information. The process has been very long and frustrating, but we were offered a 15% discount on future services..... The potential is there to be great! Just need to work on talking clients through process, timelines and communicating delays. read more
