Not only do they include lunch, snacks and water for the entire journey, they also outfit you with all the necessary outerwear you might need. As a larger guy I was a little nervous as most places don't carry my sizes. Not only could they accommodate me easily they even had sizes up to 5x. First we have done ATV in Mexico and in Hawaii on some amazing backdrops. This by far was the best. The machines were perfect and so was the equipment. They had great gear that kept a lot of the mud, dust and water out. It can't be avoided completely but they do everything in their power. I was hesitant about having to wear a helmet but have to say it is a must. As you fly through the trails at catch an errant tree limb this takes it like a champ. We loved getting to the glacier and then getting the option to polar plunge in the glacier. They made it easy and encouraged it. The food and snacks exceeded our expectations and we had the perfect amounts of stops. We saw 3 moose and two of the three were a mother/baby pair. So cute for sure. We saw eagles fly over head too. This was just amazing and the staff made us feel a part of their family. The sand dunes were a blast in these machines. So many good things to say.

Archangel, normally the road out to the Reed Lakes Trail in the summer, is a wide, well groomed trail in the winter. The space for skate skiing is broad. The grooves for classic (or is it Nordic?) are deep. Sometimes the classic grooves are over run by the skate skis. Here, the space for the skate skiers seems so wide, the classic grooves are clear. There is a parking lot at the beginning of the road. It's a state park fee lot. Five dollars to park per day or the annual pass. The trail goes 7.5km (one way) according to signage. On the way out, there are views, almost immediately, of the Gold Mint Trail and the Little Susitna River. On the way back there are clear views of the Pioneer Range in the distance.

They frequently justify their behavior by saying they are a "small family business," but that does not excuse dismissing legitimate safety concerns or attacking customers. If anything goes wrong during your trip, be prepared for this company to deny responsibility as if they are not grown-ups.

There was enough wind to slowly push me back from the far point to the left if you're standing in the dock. Once you turn off the Glenn Highway it's 2 miles to the Bonnie Lake parking lot. About .8 miles along the road you'll pass Ravine Lake. I didn't see a public use area there. The road does get quite narrow as the lake gets closer. And the road has some steep turns near the end. Drive slow and watch for traffic coming the opposite direction. Once you arrive at the parking lot for Bonnie Lake, Facilities are up the hill and around a corner from the sign board. I didn't see a fee station. There's a small dock available next to the boat launch. The sign says no jet skis and had rules for sizes of motors on boats. Fishing is allowed. It's rather shallow at the ends. Lots of plants that make paddling hard.
