Ruined clothes and way overpriced. Charged more than 200$ for a couple outfits and damaged the fabrics And embroidery.

This has been my regular cleaners for over a year. It's close to where I reside and typically on my route to and from home making it more convenient than my other Albano location in Bayside. I still utilize the other location which has offered some family confusion. After one, or two visits a month I have been satisfied with my shirts. My wife not as complimentary on some of her work attire. Whenever there is an issue they are more than happy to correct. My wife prefers Bayside store. All Albano's stores offer shoe repair which we used one time, it's pricy. The service has been typically good with friendly staff. I almost exclusively use the drive-thru which is convenient and usually no wait. All cleaning at this location is trucked out. They offer same day service at no additional charge. Another service offered, but not utilized is sewing buttons etc. In my opinion too pricy, but convenient. I have a seamstress shop that does my work and have skipped. Look for weekly coupons that provides nice discounts. You can pull them up on their website and print, or have scanned of smartphone. Personally our family never gets anything cleaned without a discount. They do not have a loyalty program like Zoots. I would recommend this location especially for the convenience of a drive-thru. 3.5 read more

Scary close to $4 each to launder men's dress shirt! $23.76 to dry clean a 3 piece suit. Looks like these people are trying to promote disposable garments, it's getting so pricey you might as well wear it three times and get a new one. The suit price is with a 20% discount for payment in advance. Dropped off on Saturday and not ready until next Thursday, so we're not talking any sense of urgency here. read more

I have been using this Albano location for 1 1/2 years now. I have been very happy with the service here. Leslie and Rhonda are always very friendly and helpful. They both always have a smile on their face when I step inside. I have had a few things go wrong at this location but I understand the work is not done there so the problem happened at their main cleaning store. I have to say that during this problem,Leslie stayed on top of things and got the issued resolved for me. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a dry cleaner on Shore Drive. Albano prices have gone too far out of control. Slightly under $22 for one dress with two small metal decorative trim pieces and 9 calendar days to finish it Customer Service by Leslie (not me!) is always excellent but it's more cost effective to throw away my clothes and buy new than have them dry cleaned. read more

The Albano on Shore Drive is AWESOME! Aside from the great job they do on our clothes, the STAFF is amazing. We have moved further from this location but still come to it because the girls are so nice and always have smiles on their faces. read more

These days the drop off has been sped up dramatically by the use of their express drop-off bag. As my shirts pile up at home I put them in the bag that they provided me, use the drive-through drop-off window, and am quickly on my way. They use your cell phone number as your customer number, so all you have to do is provide that at pick-up. No need to keep a claim ticket. Works great!! read more

I've been going to the Shore Drive Albano's for the last 2 years and would highly recommend it. The staff is always friendly and professional and I've never had an issue with my order - dropping off or picking up. The drive thru window is convenient if you're on the run and the VIP drop off bag makes sense if you do regular dry cleaning. read more

Lets see. The story begins some 3 months ago when I first dropped my beautiful, white silk Sundance brand blouse off at the albano cleaner next to my house.After paying 9 some dollars upfront I wait about a week to pick it up because the girl didn't know exactly when it'd be done. I pick it to find there is a medium size pink stain on it. Not a huge problem - I point it out to the girl and she takes it back looking bewildered and offers to send it back to get recleaned. Another week passes, shirts not there when I go to pick it up. Another week passes and I get the shirt again - this time to find the pink stain still in tact as well as a new centimeter sized rip in my shirt by the button. One of my favorite, most expensive silk blouses was essentially ruined. Yeah I could still maybe get away with wearing it, if I didn't care about a stain and a hole creating an unprofessional look in a meeting setting with clients. After calling four times, leaving two voicemails, and visiting the store where I originally dropped it off I still have heard nothing from Mr. Tony, the man I was instructed to call and speak with. So as of now I have paid Albano Cleaners $9 to ruin and keep $150 silk blouse. Doesn't seem right. Very poor business practices and customer service. read more

This place is awful. I took a jacket there that I was planning on wearing to an interview. It's still wrinkled and full of lint. What's more, it stinks of some strongly scented flowery something. My husband's clothes came out fine, but I think they just sprayed mine with something like Febreeze. The jacket clearly wasn't cleaned and was scented with something to which I'm allergic. I can't even put the jacket in my closet it smells so much. Do yourself a favor - take your clothes elsewhere. read more

What used to be a functional dry cleaner has turned into a drive thru filled with entertainment. I have pulled up at 7:30 in the morning and asked if I could have same day service. The woman at the store said that she wasn't sure she could enter my 3 shirts into the system before 9. Another time, I pulled up to the store where the person is into a DEEP SLEEP! Most recently I was told that the computer is down and that I'll have my dry cleaning back in a week, that's only if the computer comes back on before then. This place is a joke, there is one employee left (I think) named Clinton. That is the only employee that isn't full of crap and won't give you excuses. I have no idea how this place is still in business. read more
