I only really eat "Goat Sauce" a.k.a Goat stew and Alberte's NEVER FAILS! The only Haitian spot in PB that I can enjoy 100%. Also, 5-Stars because, HAITIAN FOOD IS THE BEST! Spice is always scrumptious and scorching enough to feel like it's spicy but not! IN THE WORLD. Shouldn't be any arguments. Although, I am HAITIAN. HAITIAN FOOD IS THE BEST! And that's without a biased mind, but as a true food critic who loves to eat and has great taste in foods!

When I first walked up the owner Jordan was pleasant and will to answer all my questions. I downloaded the menu on my phone l, place an order and it was ready within 15 minutes. I took the food to go, but I'd also had the option to eating inside their store front. I wanted to try the food truck that has a different menu than there mother store. I got the plantain sandwich with rice and Mac and cheese and it was so good. The owner is professional and they let you see you food prior to sealing up the bag which I like. I want to see what I'm getting serve before going home. It's in the Walmart parking lot. This is my second time to the food truck and they haven't disappointed.

This place is a staple regardless of the low ratings, and guess what, it's packed every time I go in. Sure they're not known for great customer service but that's not what you're going for. The food is consistent, consistently good, so good that I come here on a weekly basis. The other con is I just wish they hadn't raised the price on some of their dishes or I'd be eating there more frequently. I've tried many of their dishes, all great but the one I always return for is their Griot with Brown Rice and Peas, and of course with extra Pikliz. I've always only ordered to-go so I have no experience with dining there but I also never really see anyone actually eat there during the lunch rush. If you haven't tried this place, it's about time you have, you won't be disappointed in the food

Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...my second home is in Lake Worth, Florida so Alberte's is my go-to Haitian spot. I used to really love this place and it's past set-up where the food was displayed and set in the counter and you selected that way. However I had not been here in awhile and my husband warned me it changed. The food is in the back which is not an issue but there display menu is not clear. We went there and I had to ask if they had this and if they had that while there was a major line behind me of people waiting to order. Then there is the chaos of waiting for your food order. The level of confusion in when you get your order is ridiculous. The interesting part it used to be much better and I don't know why they changed. The ambiance was even better. The food is amazing but the service has to change in order to get a higher rating from me.

The food is definitely amazing if you have never tried Haitian food you are missing out. The flavors are mouth watering for my family of 4 we can usually buy 3 meals it's quite enough. It's definitely a 5 star food choice but like the other reviewer mentions the mask. I do have to agree it irks me to see food handlers with the nose out while wearing gloves also touching money at the register then packing the food to go. Well opening the boxes with the nose out. I was very disappointed. Came home and wipe the boxes but still not good. On the other hand we were majorly craving the taste. Make sure to try the patties all are amazing. The bread and spinach

Worst experience! Waited long time for a food, food was cold when I got it. No customer service and the food quality sucks.

I'm just not sure how current it is. The place is a pleasant hole in the wall -- nothing pretentious. It feels like the kind of random roadside spot you'd find somewhere in the islands. From the moment we walked in, to the minute we left, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and at home. We sat at the small bar and enjoyed a few delicious Haitian Prestige beers and an appetizer, and talked with the owner who help us to decide on what to order. He was nice, helpful, and so genuinely friendly that I felt like family. Though not pictured on the menu, I'm pretty sure our appetizer was Haitian Akra (Malanga Fritters). Good and different from anything I've had before. For our entrées, we ordered the Conch and the Fried Pork with Red Beans, Black Rice, and Fried Plantains. Everything was delicious. I'm so glad we finally tried this place, and I can't wait to go back and eventually try everything on the menu.

Also served with a black bean sauce. Never once since I have been coming here have I had a bad meal. They give you a very decent amount of food. We're able to eat from both twice. The pork is very well seasoned and the meat in the callalo is so tender. They even have my favorite coconut soda Coco Rico. I will give this place 10 starts if I was able too. The owners is very nice as well. I recommend this place for anyone who will like to try Griot for the first time and more.
