Posting this review because I was getting ready to pay for a couple of things around 1pm today. There was an old man in one of the power chairs and when I had walked out I noticed he was also parked in the handicapped spot. My point is he was old. I was minding my own business and I hear her say (The whole time with an attitude) "DECLINED." Then she says "was it a credit card? You can't get cash back if you're using a credit card." She then starts saying over and over "you haven't paid you haven't paid!" He wasn't even moving, sitting in the chair he says something like what do I do next I can't remember his exact words. She says you have to pay! That's when he kind of loses his temper and says how?! That's when she starts talking to him like a child. Even called him honey or some fake ass term of endearment. I couldn't believe how rude this woman was. She must have been having a terrible day and I hope she was. I'm sure her mother taught her manners and to respect HER elders even though she was older as well. She wasn't wearing a name tag but my receipt said Linda. I know sometimes names don't get switched to the correct person so I apologize if Linda is someone else. She had shorter brown hair and a squeaky voice. I didn't appreciate her attitude with this man and I hope the situation gets fixed. read more

I have loved this store for a long time, and it has been my "go to" stop for most groceries. This review is about the meat department at the CORPORATE level... I don't blame the people in the store for what has me steaming. I've gotten to know some of their meat people over the years, and they're fine individuals. During this lock-down, Vons/Albertsons has advertised and/or offered via their "card program" some awesome meat deals, and then failed to have stock, with no information available on delivery. In May I received "just for you" offers TWICE for porterhouse steaks at only $5.22 a pound. With Mothers Day AND my son's birthday inside this window, I burned a lot of gas driving around talking with butchers at FIVE local outlets (three A's and two V's), got lots of smiles, sympathy and a few promises to call, but no steaks and no rain checks. Of course, there were a lot of other steaks in stock for $12.99 or $14.99 a pound. Now it's a ribs deal. Regular pork ribs for $.99 a pound. Ran out on Friday night in most places. No one knows if they're coming back in, but "maybe tomorrow" each day. Tomorrow's the last day of that special, and again $5.99 back ribs are in good supply, and no rain checks will be offered. This is a big company with a lot of resources, and I'm sure their IT infrastructure is capable of reporting their inventory of ribs or steaks. They COULD have told their stores last week if more ribs were on the way, but I think they like this little "bait and switch" exercise, where they get customers back in the store day after day. A butcher at another store likes to cop a little 'tude and say "it says in the fine print 'while supplies last'"... like THAT makes it OK. I'm only buying super-bargains here for now, until they have what I want in stock, and making my major purchases at Stater Bros and Ralphs. I hope they fix this soon. I don't like not liking them. read more

I love this Albertsons. They have a variety of products, they are cheaper than Ralphs. Its also very clean and organized, and they have a decent pharmacy run by Sav-on. They also just like other Albertson stores have a Starbucks, which is decent. read more

Perfectly reliable grocery store. I don't do my regular grocery shopping here, but it's convenient for grabbing a few things in a pinch. The employees are friendly and reliable - when I left my phone there they grabbed it and locked it in the safe until I came back to pick it up. read more

Although this is not my go to for groceries, I do come here a lot being less than a mile away. I've never had a bad experience while shopping here. The self check out is so convenient and right near the entrance/exit. So if you're in a rush enter from the left side. Everything is pretty easy to find and usually really neat and tidy. And as pictures show this Albertsons honestly has the best craft beer and wine selection I have seen for a grocery store. The staff is very helpful and every employee really knows where everything is located. Its usually not very packed at all when I go here either which is also a good thing. I'm a regular Albertsons shopper, but this is the last time this will happen to me. Quite frequently I pick up an item and when I get home it is less than fresh. Blueberries with mold, bad lettuce, but this week it happened for the last time. I bought some yogurt with the expiration date of the same day at regular price when there was a sale sign. I find that highly offensive, as I shouldn't have to walk around the grocery store to check the expiration and have to watch my total at the register. On Thursday 5/21/15 between 8:35am and 8:40am I purchased a cup of coffee and 5 1gal. bottles of water so I paid at the sturbucks register but didn't get a receipt which I usually don't, I stop by to get my coffee at least 3 times a week and when they ask if I want a receipt I usually say no. When I exited the store the carts guy asked me to show my receipt to verify I had paid for the water, so I had to go back inside and ask for it just to prove that I did paid for the water. It was a bit upsetting to me and embarrassing at the same time read more

Albertsons sells gift cards that are defective. The numbers are scraped off and the mag stripe doesn't work. Albertsons will tell you all sales are final on gift cards. A store manager told me that they have had this issue for a while, but Albertsons management tells the staff to stock these on the shelves anyway. When you buy a gift card that doesn't work you become a victim of Albertsons vendor issues, their security issues, and their store management who views you as an acceptable theft percentage. There are so many other choices for where you can shop, why choose Albertsons when this is how they will treat you? read more

I don't do my primary shopping at this location but it is good for quick things. Big down side is how early they close. They shut one set of doors at 8pm and close completely by 11p. On the plus side there is a Redbox, Starbucks and SchoolsFirst atm inside. read more

Kudos to Joanne (sp?) and the rest of the staff here. Honestly, you visit supermarkets so frequently that sometimes they mesh together and service can be subpar which goes unnoticed. EVERY single time I have walked in the staff has been friendly, helpful and it's what keeps me going here. There is a Ralphs and two other markets closer to my home but I will drive to this Albertsons just because of the customer service. read more

This store needs a lot of improvement! I check their ads and web site so I know how much my purchase should cost but when I check out the total price is usually a lot higher and it is always a big hassle to get it right. Also, the outside of the store always has a lot of trash and vagrants. read more

Very clean and organized however the wings in the hot and ready department are very poor quality and not good. Also the area seems to be overrun more and more with transients and day laborers that hang around that parking lot. I grew up going here but it's gotten to the point that if I come here alone I have to ask a store clerk to walk me to my car. read more

Cashiers need to stop having so many personal conversations at the check stand. Talk to your customers. Employees were talking about their health insurance at Albertsons and the only thing the cashier said to me was, "Are you using gas rewards?" Okay so the reason I gave it star's at all was because of the store selling normal products in a orderly fashion but most importantly today I asked a girl working at the sample food table in the back where to find something and she did a great job trying to help me out even though she said she is still learning where everything is because it was her first day. Very nice with a smile on her face. So kudos to you good job. What I don't like is the dangerous parking lot, to many cars racing through trying to run into people. the kids in the store act like it's a play ground going racing with the electric disabled carts around the store running into things like it's a clown car with like 5 of them hanging off of it. Not a peep from the employees at the checkout area who were only a few feet from them. read more

Worst costumer service ever. I never shop at this albertsons, but i was on my way home from work and i needed to get a few things. The Checker Robert was very rude, first of all he coughed into his hand and then continued scanning items, he was not very friendly, he never once looked at me or asked how i was, or did i find everything ok. He did ask me if i needed a bag and i replied yes, after that he bagged my stuff and threw it in my cart. The customer in front of me was a very elderly man, and was very slow. The checker Robert just threw his coffee to the corner of the conver belt so he could start my transaction. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but i will never go to this Albertsons again. read more

My family and I have had multiple negative customer experiences at this location, with the last one involving my mother being given a difficult time trying to use the Albertsons app and eventually after giving her attitude and confusion by charging her 16 items with a cart of only 11 items, they overcharged her. We've walked away each time shaking our heads but figured we just need to suck it up and maybe it was a bad day for another Caucasian female employee (coincidence or not the last two instances involved thusly). I am pretty open-minded and don't like to use racism as an excuse, but now I sense this place is apt to look down on people who try to leverage their coupons and doubly condescending to those who don't speak English well or of their same skin color. Various members of the staff treat customers poorly, even when escalated to the manager (with the exception of the baker I once interacted with, he's so nice). That is why we didn't bother to call the director on the receipt "Chantel Knudsen" for fear that she is part of management here and anything we said would fall on deaf ears. I strongly urge this store to visit their customer service and bias policies. read more

The store is always clean. The employees are not as helpful as you'd expect but I generally can find everything I need. Nice not having to punch in my rewards card. Enjoy having the Redbox in the store which makes renting movies and buying milk at one location quite convenient. read more

I no longer shop at albertsons at all simply because their prices have gone thru the moon however the pharmacy is the very best around and to be specific , Jessica is outstanding. I get over 10 medications per month. With walgreens i always had to call them in but not until they were gone. Then , it would take 3 to 10 days to get them all. The store was very clean and well stocked.The store was very festive for autumn and it was appealing. The selection was excellent and the prices reasonable. Now I have been shopping at Albertsons for over thirty years and I am satisfied for the most part. There are three Albertsons in Orange and this is by far my favorite. The only complaint I have is with the service.The store was very busy and not enough help, a demonstration employee blatantly cut in front of the line to be rung up, annoying all the customers behind her. The cashier was not very friendly and did not give us 2 books of stamps that we had paid for.We hadn't noticed that we didn't receive them until later that evening and had to drive back. The same cashier who rang us up earlier was there and barely acknowledged the error and gave us a mediocre apology and only gave us 1 book! We had to correct him again! He didn't seem like he was all there...Pay attention!! I understand your busy, but get it together...we are the customer! read more

I am in this Albertsons two or three times a week. There has ALWAYS been an issue with the kids who bag groceries and it's only gotten worse since we have to bring our own bags. Bag loading training is in order!! And I don't appreciate the bad attitude from them when I ask them to bag. read more

I am shocked at all the negative reviews. The staff at this store are friendly! The girls like Jasmine, Shanon and kyli from Starbucks who go out of their way t say hi and how is your day gong so far. Then there is Frank in dairy and Georgian at check out, too man to list. The managers are constantly walking around picking up and greeting customers all over the store. The prices maybe a tad high, but service is #1 on my shopping list. read more
