I recently had to call for emergency services for a family member. Along with the Albuquerque fire department, Albuquerque ambulance responded. They immediately assessed the injuries/issues and took charge for the care of my family member. On the way to the hospital my family member had an additional medical emergency and so the ambulance pulled over to tell us that we were going to a different hospital. The staff were competent, amiable, and friendly and provided great care. I recommend Albuquerque ambulance for emergency services. They will get you taken care of and to the correct facility quickly. read more

On Sunday April 12, 2026 @3:00pm I was being transported from my facility I'm residing at Canyon Transitional to Lovelace ER downtown and as the ambulance arrived for me a guy entered my room and said Hi James I'm Eric and I'm going to be taking care of you okay I said yes sir he proceeded to take my vitals and talked to me as I was explaining to him that I had ate something that didn't settle with my stomach so as I talked to him he listened to me with Sincerity he cared about my for being his patient now so as his partner came in my room Natalie she greeted me with the same thing being very caring and thoughtful of my problem for which I was going to the ER room for so kinda my part for the transferring from my bed to gurney I told them how i could stand up from my wheelchair from my bed inside wheelchair i let them know i would stand from my wheelchair and hold on rails in my hall so after few minutes I felt comfortable to stand up and pivot around to sit on gurney. Once I was on gurney Eric got my feet on the gurney till I got comfortable so putting seat belt s on they covered me up and our nurse and CNA got my back pack with phone charger and my throw blanket and my jacket. Once I was loaded up ready to go had a few standing byers saying good luck James God bless you the staff acknowledged me when I left got outside loaded in ambulance and off we went my ride was smooth as ever got to Er Lovelace unloaded and Eric and Natalie were there as I transferred my self from gurney to hospital bed. I can thank Eric and Natalie Ambulance #49 for all they did for me Words cant express my gratitude and appreciation for these two EMTs for their care professionalism and compassion they gave me ive been taken by Albuquerque Ambulance multiple times and each time ive had good results times with care and professionalism like what 14 times Please acknowledge Eric and Natalie Ambulance #49 let them know they absolutely touched my heart for their job unfortunately I did kinda poor out my guts as just the losses I've had since I been in my facility 4 years too. Despite ECG by AFR showing heart bloc for 91 year old patient and the decision to transport the patient to ER at Presbyterian Hospital on Central, AbqAmbul said Kaseman ER was "on the way." But ... only when ER doc at Kaseman decided to admit the patient (NO SUCH INFO from AbqAmbul) did we learn Kaseman HAS NO INPATIENT BEDS - except for psych patients. So ... patient had to wait about 8 hours for "non-emergency" service by AbqAmbul. NOTE: AbqAmbul is owned/operated by Presbyterian; wondering ... did the ambulance staff know the Kaseman ER was not busy? could use another patient? read more

I respect first responders that still enjoy working with people. After all it is a job that deals directly with people usually on the worst day of their life. I myself am a trained and experienced EMT. My mother had a fall in assisted living and was experiencing altered level of consciousness from infection. The AAS crew that responded 1 hour after initial 911 call was more interested in rifling through my mothers closet to steal medical supplies rather than respecting her. The AAS crew could not be bothered to help lift my mother off her bed but did manage to countermand my request that they not lift my mother by her extremities. They sarcastically directed the AFD crew to lift her by her arms and legs. Mom was in a great deal of pain after a fall where mechanism of injury asks for a gentle lift. Obviously this was too much trouble for a crew more interested in keeping their gear clean than patient safety. I will be reporting this incident to the state DOH and any others with oversight to get crews like this under control. read more

Nobody wants to need an ambulance... if I need one in the future, I'd hope Albuquerque Ambulance Service is the one to show up. My roommate was in anaphylactic shock. I administered epipen and called 911. She was very sick and additionally very overwhelmed. Once positive her airway was okay, Sarah R became a huge advocate for her. She asked what she needed and per my roommate's request, I was allowed to ride with her. Sarah ensured the environment around was as calm and quiet as possible. Even after arriving at Kaseman Sarah continued to advocate and made sure my roommate had female staff she was comfortable with before she left. My roommate was never alone and didn't have panic adding to her difficulty breathing. Btw, all is well now. read more

I injured myself in a bicycle accident on Tuesday August 14th around 9:40 Am. I tried to get to the hospital on my own (or rather with the help of my dad who owns a business near the site of the accident) but his vehicle started making strange noises and I was bleeding quite a lot so we ended up calling 911 to have an ambulance dispatched. It arrived quickly and Nate and Andrew not only gave me the needed medical attention and trip to the ER, but also were extremely kind and friendly. Andrew even came back to check on me in the ER around the time his shift ended (8 hours later!). I feel that their care went above and beyond and their excellent "bedside manner" made a scary situation much more bearable. Thank you to Andrew and Nate, and to AAS. read more

vary unprofessional . vary uncaring I though I was in bad shape and they showed no compassion and acted bothered because they had to take me to the hospital . even though that's there job . one of them even said ( vary sarcastically ) your going to be in lobby for hours . making me feel like I should not have called 911 .( witch I don't do light lee ) I was convinced that my problem was life threatening or I wouldn't have called ! I have the upmost respect for our first responders !!! but the ones that took me act like they don't like there jobs! if so look for a different one . oh every other word they used was a curse word !!! vary unprofessional !!!
