horrible company! they constantly take extra $ out of your account! You have to check your bank statements monthly for these snakes! I had a cord go bad and it was replaced, they said no charge! Six months LATER I get charged! WTF?!? Yesterday I noticed I was just charged $50 extra and no violations or repairs!!! They like to remind you "but you signed a contract saying we cos take $" Therefore they think they can randomly take out extra bogus charges!! I will be calling my lawyer Monday along with Alco! But I'm sure they will have some BS excuse that I can probably do nothing about! Complete FRAUD!!! And I'm shocked that Alco Iowa does not have open lawsuits! YET!!!!!! Most companies give free mouthpieces when you get recalibrated. Not them, $3.50 each and a min of $15 for shipping. Device started malfunctioning after 6 months and they were going to ship a new one to the service center where I get recalibrated. So, I ordered some mouthpieces that would be shipping out with the device to avoid shipping fee. Got a call the next day that they have no devices to send out, but there is a service center over an hour away where I can go pick one up. Even though I have to pay someone to drive me an hour away to get it due to the company not being prepared for their defected devices, they won't send me the mouthpieces without charging me the shipping. It's a given that those should be sent for free for all of the inconvenience they are causing me. They are not open on the weekends for help. Automatic payments are the only option and they tell you the payments cover 30 days, but they do not. They have no app or good website to view payments or manage your account and I believe now this is so they can overcharge you. The rebate states that it is applied after 6 months with them, but I had to call because mine was not applied. They did apply it but told me they usually add the rebate to the end of your service, which for me would have been 5 years! That's not what the rebate paper says. One thing they have going for them is the guy at the service center is amazing. The device is easy to use and not ugly and bulky. The cost is affordable. Violations can be prevented. Sorry for those who want to blame everything on the equipment, but sometimes you just have to figure out what it is you're doing to cause the FAIL. As for replacing the equipment, if there is a problem, they always replace the equipment. Depending on why it needs to be replaced, will depend on whether you have to pay or not. Alco Test is the greatest interlock company out there. I also found out that they have been around the longest. Lissa is great and totally knows her stuff. The always made me feel safe and comfortable using their product. The breathalyzer is a blow suck. The best one in the industry. I've had friends that have gotten breathalyzer's where they have to blow, hum, suck, blow again. That's too much. Price's are reasonable to me. It's our fault we got OWI/ DUI. we have to pay the consequences. Anywhere else is far more expensive. I'm so glad I went with Alco test. Will recommend to anyone & everyone in the future! read more

With there great help I was able to reinstate my drivers license! The staff there is great. They answer the phones quickly, and any of there employees that answer are ready to talk to you about anything you may need. They also do not rush you off the phone once talking. rip off artiest. Had bad equipment (hand held) that needed replacement. After they did in house recalibration they were able to send it out to new customer so they decided I should be the 1 paying for the recalibration and charge me $75.00 because it was my fault for not blowing properly REALY then why did you have to recalibrate. You can't have it both ways, it was fine and my fault OR it needed calibration and it was yours. I already pay $90.00 month for a local company to maintain if they weren't doing there job fault them.
