There are so many negative things to say about Intoxalock, but I will start with the fact that they are at least as "seedy" (i.e. criminal) as the CA DMV. I have unfortunately had an Intoxalock IID in my car twice: 1) for one year starting in 2019, and, 2) 2 1/2 years starting in 2023 (well, I had the IID installed six months early hoping that doing this would cause the court to give me some leniency). The first time I was in a business to have the Intoxalock IID removed from my car in 2020, Intoxalock sent the incorrectly filled out DMV removal form to the uninstallation place. This caused me to have to wait for a correctly filled out form to be sent to the uninstallation place within a few days of the original date I had an appointment for the IID uninstallation. So, that was an inconvenience, to say the least. Now, while the Intoxalock IID was in my car, it caused me to be in very dangerous situations when it would beep and require a breath sample while i was driving. The IID is at least as much of a danger as texting while driving since you HAVE to do the ol' "blow--suck--blow" routine as you may be making a U-turn, pulling into a very busy parking lot, driving down a freeway in heavy stop-and-go traffic, etc. then, there are the times when the IID device keeps showing the message "blow harder" when you are doing it absolutely correctly in the first place. Talk about MAJOR MALFUNCTIONS! This happened to me 5 times in a row one day until it finally accepted my breath sample, and I was at my wit's end dealing with the faulty device. Unfortunately in 2023 I had to have an Intoxalock IID installed in my car again (this time for two years). Again, there were the problems with the IID wanting a breath sample during times when I was in dangerous driving conditions. Also, there were a few times when it was malfunctioning while I was giving breath samples while driving. Recently, my time was up for the requirement for the IID in my car, so I had Intoxalock set up an appointment for the uninstallation. When I went to the IID uninstallation appointment, the uninstallation place didn't received the required DMV IID removal form that i need to take over the the CA DMV. So, I called Intoxalock and talked to some representaive with a thick accent that I could barely understand, and he said that he would have the DMV form sent to the uninstallation place by the following Monday or Tuesday. Again, no DMV arrived there...even by Wednesday. Again, I called Intoxalock right away on the Wednesday, and a representative told me that some kind or error happened with sending the DMV form and that it would be sent by "Express" mail. Now, during this phone call there was absolutely no mention of any shipping fees that I would incur. And, I figured that any shipping fees would be paid by Intoxalock, especially since they failed to send me the DMV form twice already. I must note that I already had paid my Intoxalock account to where it was at a $0 balance. Then, I signed into my Intoxalock account online out of curiosity, and I saw a whopping $40 shipping fee added to my balance. They want to charge ME $40 to send me a one-page DMV form that they had already failed to send me twice. I called Intoxalock again and spoke to a lady regarding the status of the shipment of the DMV form, and she told me that the shipment tracking showed that there was a delay due to severe weather conditions. During the phone call I also addressed the insane $40 shipping fee and asked her to have that huge fee removed from my account as it wasn't my fault that Intoxalock failed to send me the DMV form twice already. She "said" that she would put in a request for the removal of that shipping fee. Then, the same day that I had called Intoxalock to ask them to clear the fee from my balance, I received an automated message from Intoxalock via voice mail stating that I must pay the remaining account balance (i.e. that ludicrous $40 shipping fee) or else they would send my account to collections. Who on Earth threatens collections on an account balance of $40 that had just posted to the account that same day?! Talk about criminal!!! Their charging me that $40 fee was wrongful in the first place as they had never informed me that they were going to charge ME a $40 shipping fee for a one-page DMV form that they should have already shipped to the IID uninstallation place on the day of my uninstallation appointment several days prior. It is now the Thursday after the prior Friday uninstallation appointment, and still no DMV form had arrived. Now, the UPS tracking shows that the DMV form is scheduled to be delivered to the uninstallion place tomorrow (Friday...a full week after they should have already gotten the form to the uninstallation place). Meanwhile, the bogus $40 shipping fee remains on my Intoxalock balance in their effort to bilk me out of yet another chunk of money. Now on to my complete nightmare of an experience with this company in what has only been 3 weeks. I had the device installed in my vehicle on April 7, 2021. A day later, the car completely shut down while I was driving on the road. The irony of having the word "Safety" in their company name! I had to have my car towed over 20 miles to the repair center where it was installed. This cost $85. Mechanics informed us that the device was faulty. I paid them($100) and was also charged a Lockout Fee not ONCE but TWICE ($160). I spoke to a customer service representative on the phone who thankfully credited the account for one of the lockout fees, but refused to credit the account for the other one, even though the Lockout was of no fault of my own. My car broke down. Their device registered this as me tampering with the device. This is a faulty device. When I tried to explain this to customer service Rep (whose name is Maytee btw. Hey girl, you a pirate? Arghh!) she very rudely told me that because I hadn't filed a maintenance report, that they would not refund the money for the lockout. Thing is, I was standing directly next to the mechanic when he called Intoxalock to let them know the dates that the car was in their shop (8 days total.) Maytee insisted that because I did not file a maintenance report online, I would be charged with the Lockout fee. So, let me get this straight: In order to have a Lockout fee reimbursed, you have to buy yourself a crystal ball and predict that your car will shut down in the middle of the road? The stipulation was that I hadn't filed the report BEFORE the Lockout occurred. The reason I filed the report is BECAUSE the Lockout occurred. So the reason I paid a Lockout fee is because I didn't report an issue that hadn't occurred yet. I know this review is long, but bear with me folks, because this roller coaster of tom-f**ing-foolery is just getting started. As you will see if you read literally any other reviews on this page, this device is antiquated. Actually, that's insufficient. This device is a f***ing dinosaur. And I don't mean like a T-REX, I mean like an early Triassic period, under evolved beast that scientists only recently discovered existed. The technology, quite frankly, is s***. Imagine wanting to stream your favorite music on a jog but only having a Victrola with a strap attached to it. Which is why this device will completely drain and ruin your car's battery. It has been sitting at my house for one day unattended, and it is already completely dead. So, the first thing I did was file a Maintenance Report on my Intoxalock account. After doing this, I decided to reach out to customer service just in case. I used the Chat feature on their website, which is kind of like seeing bottle of Diet Water for sale in the grocery store. At first glance, the packaging looks legit but it only takes about a millisecond to realize that it's completely useless. This time, when I told Amanda that my car battery had died, and asked if I should worry about being locked out. Her response was "Yeah, you should be fine." And then she LEFT THE CHAT. I made the decision to switch to a different company. I had to try the chat again three times before I finally got reconnected with Amanda (kismet). Amanda stated plainly in our chat (I screenshot it) that after paying the removal fee, no other fees would be accrued. Ok, so prepare yourself for the shock of the century because directly after paying the removal fee, I was charged another Lease Fee and a Device Protection Fee ($45). My experience with this company was ...a complete NIGHTMARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I strongly advise you to choose another provider!! I'm extremely surprised they haven't been reported to the Better Business Bureau.. that's about to change today. 1.COMPLAINT-I was lied to about the fees. Once I locked in all kinds of fees appeared. I had specifically asked Will about this and he told me no extra fees. Choose another company with more upfront Here goes my breakdown INSTALLATION-$318 CALIBRATION-$150 (for six months 05/20/17-11/20/2017) RENTAL FEE-$600+ ($100 per month for 6 months and still have to pay until they remove) LOCKOUT FEE-$75 (One and only lockout since i had this device for six month) DUI SCHOOL- $25 (Because of the lockout) =$1150 (not including taxes) so its safe to say over $1300 has been paid to these THIEVES 2.COMPLAINT- The WORST customer experience I have ever had, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE Rude disrespectful African american ghetto women its like a ZOO especially the supervisor AMBER very unprofessional i had to hung up on her because her intelligence level, as well as every other employee I have spoken to, is lacking. Since I had this device I passed every start-up blow and retest I had only one lockout for leaving my car running while I went inside of the gas station and missed a retest and had to blow for a third retest and passed. I had to pay a $75 lockout fee. Last week after having this device for five in a half months I got my first failed alert on the device because I sprayed my perfume right before I had to blow to start my car and I was so terrified because I never failed a blow test and didn't know what to expect but I only had to wait four minutes and thirty seconds to try the start-up again and I PASSED then I was able to start my car and leave. Few days later I received a second failed when my mother in law asked to drive my car for the first time which she had trouble blowing correctly because she have a pace maker in her heart and the device kept telling her to blow harder she also advise me she had just brushed her teeth and use mouthwash which will cause a failed result and after I showed her how to blow she passed the initial start-up and retest. I don't deserve to have the device in my vehicle for another six month I have a perfect driving history since my DUI in 2014, NEVER failed a retest and a almost perfect interlock testing record I got my first failed message at start-up five month after having my device installed due to perfume not alcohol and I make my device lease payments on time every month and If I got paid late before I can do my calibration I always call to let them know. It comes down to the Companies best interest- MONEY future revenue, because admitting that they might have defective equipment wouldn't help them out in that area. This device is also destroying my Mercedes by killing my battery and causing computer issues. Ive served my time with this device and learned my lesson. At the time of this writing your company is in violation of the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act of 1977. Fortunately, I wasn't foolish enough to waive my right to litigate by signing your 18 page, self-serving, CONTRACT. It's no small wonder why your company chooses to ARBITRATE, rather than answer for your deliberately deceptive and unfair trade practices in a court of law. I'm confident that the last thing your company wants, or needs, is to respond to a flurry of discovery motions. You have a lot to hide. In its current form your CONTRACT requires me to make 26, bi-weekly, payments. Your bi-weekly payment plan is a DELIBERATE attempt by your company to make an end run about the limitations set forth in the Rules of Tennessee Department of Safety And Homeland Security; Highway Patrol Division; Chapter 1340-03-06; Rules of Ignition Interlock Device Program. Very creative and manipulative. NICE TRY! During the initial phase of my interaction with your company, I made it crystal clear that I do NOT do bi-monthly payments. I explained that I pay ALL my bills MONTHLY upon presentation of a billing statement. Ahhhh, but "that's not a problem" according to your "Territory Sales Rep" Joey Kriesel. I will have the "option" of selecting a monthly payment plan as soon as I have your device installed, and establish an online account. As we all know, that option isn't on the table. Under Tennessee law that is a deceptive and unfair trade practice. Shame on you! FORTUNATELY for me, I had Joey Kriesel on speakerphone and digitally recorded the entire conversation. Your company likes to record telephonic messages for "quality control AND other purposes." So do I, but I'm not required to tell you that if you lie to me I've got you on digital recording. "Other purposes" indeed! I note with interest that in addition to Intoxalock's aversion to the court system, Intoxalock has an aversion to the FTC. As a matter of custom and habit, Intoxalock conducts ALL sales online, via mail, or telephone. That is all by design so that Intoxalock can pursue their predatory practices without consequences. Your lawyers are really clever! Let's talk about that UNAUTHORIZED tracking device you put on my vehicle. By what authority, and with whose permission, did you proceed to install a GPS tracking device on MY personal vehicle without my prior knowledge and consent? In addition to the obvious Fourth Amendment violations, I can make a good case for invasion of privacy and stalking. To add more salt to the wound, you have the audacity to charge me for a device I was never told about, and NEVER AUTHORIZED. I'd really like to know who you people think you are. Thank you for the "Device Protection Plan" or "DPP" that I didn't ask for. Just ANOTHER one of the many ways Intoxalock has devised for gouging consumers. Now let's talk about your unethical Intoxalock installer. The install took less than an hour, and I can pretty much prove it. Your installer charged me for 3 hours of labor @$75.00 an hour. That's the EXACT maximum amount of time allowed for in section 1340-03-06-.15 of "The Rules of Tennessee Department of Safety And Homeland Security; Highway Patrol Division; Chapter 1340-03-06; Rules of Ignition Interlock Device Program." Had your installer charged me two (2) hours of labor, I may have bit the bullet, but charging me THREE HOURS of labor for a ONE HOUR install is nothing more than good old fashioned GREED. That's theft of property, larceny by deceit, and wire fraud. It says a lot for Intoxalock that you hire unscrupulous and dishonest personnel to install your devices. After the install I drove home and parked my vehicle. At 1900 I attempted to start my vehicle, and for the first time since I bought it I experienced starter drag. No need for anyone to blow the typical smoke at me. I happen to be a retired mechanic with over FIFTY (50) years of experience. YOUR device caused parasitic loss and drained my battery. Parasitic loss is a well-known phenomenon with your device and you KNOW it. I am aware, that I messed up first and foremost by getting into trouble by driving under the influence in the first place. Nothing good can come from this. For the sake of this review however I'd rather discuss the many downsides of this company of scammers. One of those unfortunate events you'll find yourself coming across is the interlock system installed in your vehicle. When this occurs... DO NOT use Intoxalock for your service provider. I can not stress enough baffled I am as to how this company of liars and theives can operate a business equivalent to calling a bank robber a good branch of banking service. I'd rate them in the negative numbers if I could! Let's get started: Upon agreeing with the terms of service associated with intoxalock, you will be given a brick sized device that you have to pay for to get installed as well as recalibrated in what they tell you is monthly. Instead of monthly the screen on the device will read violation and give you a lockdown every two weeks. This is of course when you didn't violate anything other than having a faulty device. If you do not drive your vehicle to place that installed the device to have the lockdown warning removed, your vehicle WILL NOT START! They give you an app which they'll tell you to install in order to "avoid lockouts" which is completely useless but you can call them right? After waiting on the phone, for an hour on a good day if you choose to call them and from what I've read from other reviews and YouTube complaints, additional fees added to your account by just calling. So, here's where the scam starts: The first calls will have you on the phone with a clear spoken person. They'll tell you they will look into the problem and then "beat around the bush" leaving you no choice but to pay for an extra calibration every month. The lockout fee set was at 75 dollars which they doubled and tripled costing around 225 everytime. You remember me telling you how it cost money to have the device simply in your car? Expect that to be added two and three times added to your credit card bill as well. If you have this device in your car for a year, you could be spending close to 3000 dollars in additional fees. "Run wire" is a reading that comes up often on the handheld device. If you ask your service station about this, they'll tell you Intoxalock is in the wrong, if you ask Intoxalock, the service station is the one who is incorrect. The most likely answer is that they're both in on the scam because you'll be given an additional fee at the service station anyway. If you are confused yet by the amount of money you have already spent, you shouldn't be as you are reading this correctly. Anyway, back to the phone calls. I forgot to mention the lack of communication they will have with the court system. So if you are on probation, need to contact or look at your status provided by the DMV, DO THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE as this company fails to provide this information to them! After they overcharge you constantly, then the service provider bills you too. Once they have you on the additional payments, expect the caller on the other line (English is my first language) to be a caller from outside of the United States. Other reviews I've read on people who have Spanish as their first language have similar complaints. In addition you will again be put on a "wild goose chase" in order to provide information they pretend to care about, only to take more of your money. One of the times I called, a guy on the other line was playing with his dog, borderline, ignoring what I was saying. Additional complaints that are frequently addressed that I myself didn't encounter but am in way surprised of include: 1. The device draining the battery of the vehicle 2. The newer cars unable to use the ignition because of the device. I was however told, I needed a new starter in my car when the frequent problem was either the wire, the device or a combination of both. 3. Falsifying car breakdowns. It should be noted however, that you must call your interlock service provider in case of breakdown and vehicle maintenance. It would also be nice if that information was given to you. 4. False samples (this one I see as a bit more understandable (mouthwash, certain foods etc.) But a false sample by a defective device seems to be moreso the common complaint. To end this long review not only should Intoxalock receive a lawsuit against them for the scam that they are, it should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Absolutely the worst company imaginable. Their initial service is great up front, I was able to set up an install and pay for it online, but then it's all down hill from there. Initially, I wasn't asked to sign a contract but after the device was installed my account was threatened with deactivation if I didn't sign their online contract, and after reviewing the price gouging written into it, I didn't want to sign. Of course, they threatened to deactivate the device which would then alert my monitoring authority, so in the end I had to sign the contract essentially under duress. If anyone has ever had to get one of these you understand the amount of hoops you have to jump through just to be able to get your license. Intoxalock utilizes this stressful situation to their advantage. Apart from that, the device routinely failed during driving. Several times it just shut off while I was at a stop light and undergo a 5 minute RESET procedure, while I'm in traffic! This would just happen randomly. One time, while I was parked at a gas station the device just wouldn't come on. I called their emergency customer service number and was on hold for over an hour, unable to move my car or even roll up my windows. This device shuts down your entire vehicle! When someone finally did answer the phone they were unable to assist me with troubleshooting the device and said I needed to take it to an authorized service agent because the device might be defective and I had to pay for a tow truck! Well this happened early during my contract and I thought "well how many tow trucks am I going to be paying for when all is said and done?!" During the winter time the device takes anywhere from 5-8 minutes to activate so plan on sitting outside in the cold for a while. And finally, at the end of my probation period I called to have my device uninstalled 2 months prior to the end of the contract. Intoxalock informed me that they would charge me a $200 early termination fee, a $60 end of service fee, and a $50 uninstall fee. And the kicker, I called them on July 26th to schedule removal on August 5. The next day, on July 27th, they debited my account for payment covering the month of August. They didn't even wait for August to start, they saw they had to act soon and bill me one last time. Even though I was having the device uninstalled on the 5th they were gonna make sure they got that $85 payment for the entire month of August and when i called to ask them about it they said "we don't offer pro-rated payments" and after I explained to the customer service rep my overall disappointment with the entire experience they stated "sorry you feel that way, is there anything else I can help you with today?" So with all that said here is a warning DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, FIND SOMEONE ELSE, ANYONE ELSE, RIDE THE BUS IF YOU HAVE TO, THESE PEOPLE ARE A RACKET AND WILL ONLY MAKE YOUR LIFE MORE DIFFICULT! read more

11/18- I had this handheld installed in my car. From day one it was resetting a lot, but being that I haven't used their services before I thought maybe I could be doing something wrong, or the unit just needed to be used a little. It continued to have issues up until 12/4/17 when it really went downhill. 12/4/17- Customer service is AWFUL. I've had the device for two weeks and it is constantly throwing error codes, restarts and requires a 5 minute wait time everytime I start my car. On 3 occasions I have gone into a store and come out to my car (NOT RUNNING) saying I missed a test and the car will be stopped. The company will not send me a new unit without making me drive out of my way to have it inspected, (FOR A DEVICE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSPECTED BEFOREHAND), or worried about the fact that this will be reporting false information to a COURT. The customer service team is RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and not helpful. Will transfer you a million times or to a voicemail (of a supervisor, who will not return your call), or they will just simply disconnect from your chat. Horrible business. DO NOT USE THEM. Go with SMART START. 12/5/17- Continued issues. Machine constantly resetting, rolling retests are not working. The device will tell you to blow but will not produce the required beeping noise, thus it is not registering your blow. 12/6/2017- New handheld was sent me. Although I stated at the service center I thought it was wiring issues, they assured me it was handheld unit. No surprise that later this day it started rebooting and throwing ERROR CODE 2 again.. 12/7/17- Device isn't working at all now and my car isn't driveable! This company has done nothing but cause me trouble and is not helping in any way! I am being charged a tow fee now for something that is not even my fault. The car towing needs to be paid by THEM, as well as credits on my account before this is removed. 12/8/2017 An Intoxalock account specialist is telling me I will have to pay out of pocket for my inspection once my car is towed and then submit a receipt for review as well. Edit: This turned out to be a communication error, however, they should be training their customer service people better. 12/12/17- I was able to pick up my car yesterday finally. The unit seems to be working for now. However, I have received no word on my reimbursement for my tow fee, which I have sent to TWO supervisors. Overall this company has not been worth the hassle it has caused me. 12/15/17- My car is BACK in the shop as the interlock starting having issues again after 3 days. They finally deemed it necessary to send me a new installation kit, which seems to me should have been done weeks ago, so now I will have to go another weekend without my car due to their general lack of customer service and concern. read more

Yet if there is anyone here that can explain to me how a supposed "business" that "strives to always provide great customer service and be honest about our pricing" and that is constantly leaving a rebuttal of "apologize for the negative experience you had with our company" by a fake business service rep (Vernon P.) to counter the experience one has with this company, is in anyway shape or form good for business besides a false accusation to placate the truth please let me know. On more than several occasions, the phone calls that were made to this place of "business", got more and more interesting with every "customer rep" that was spoke to. I totally understand that as "people" they have a job to do as do I. Yet the funniest thing about that is,your appoiment with a service center that is closed, and they tell you it is closed once you call to remind them that you as a person have a job as well, and an hour and a half of your time has been utilized in the parking lot. Good Times Good Times. Another thing one must admire is the ease at which the "customer rep" will balme you for the inconvenience, yet your conformation email tells you where to go, and, and the business service hours and days are posted on the door of the service center. This is great! What gets me and I really wander as I'm sure most people do even the person from intoxalock that reads these reviews is how often do you consider and I mean really consider the fact,that the reason that your competitor SMART START is the number one ignition lock device in the industry, more cost effective $74.50 a month and the customer service reps there actually utilize customer service everytime a phone call is made to them and intoxalock is losing its customers to them repeatedly is because of the up most respect that you as a whole company operates... The absolute worst, racist, anti-Veteran, company EVER!! I'm a combat Vet. who was left stranded after serving jury duty several towns away because of their faulty equipment back in MAY!!! First they tried to blame me( as if I could have done something wrong from inside of the court house) then after the shop proved that it was their faulty equipment(BTW this is the second time that the equipment has failed) they keep asking me to produce documentation from AAA that doesn't exist to in order to not reimburse me for having my car towed! I sent over the EXACT receipt that AAA sent me! I sent a copy of my credit card statement that shows me being charged! I sent a copy of THEIR work order that they approved of to have the unit replaced!! And alls get is a email that is prescript as the standard response to all emails! Anyone that has ever utilized AAA know that all transactions are done over the phone and with a credit card! AAA has never sent documentation that show when, where, how, your car was towed so where in the Fu@k am I supposed to find documentation that DOESN'T exist?!?! And to think I never asked to be reimbursed for missing work because I excited the Army in a town where I have NO FAMILY so there's no-one to call for a ride! BUT here's the million dollar question intoxalock.... If you're equipment failed, and the car can't start( you mailed out a new unit and received the old unit which you would have charged me for if you didn't) HOW THE FU9K DID MY CAR GET TO THE SHOP????? also as you all know it takes on average 3 to 5 days to get someone on the phone( who barely speaks English) just to give YOU the run arounds in YOUR country!! Hmmmmm To my fellow customers( who are being publicly lynched and raped by intoxaloc) as soon as I figure out how to upload and post the documents that I sent to them I will!! Lastly, if need be I will post my VA Medical records that show that I sustained shrapnel wounds from Iraq as well as other medical issues that I suffer from daily as a result of the many deployments that I was sent on during my service!!! I had originally left a 1 star review for this business after having a terrible experience since day-1-account activation. I am revisiting my rating as a courtesy given that Intoxalock did eventually follow up with me to reverse some unfair charges on my account. I feel that a renewal of 3 stars is justified since although the charges were reversed, it doesn't change the grief I have had to go through to fix all the issues up until this point. Moreover, it seems unfair that I didn't seem to get any attention for my issues until I left a bad review on Yelp. Turns out that the device issue I was having in addition to the mistaken charges was due to Intoxalock shipping the wrong device to my service center (just when I thought this company couldn't make anymore mistakes). I will say that I am glad the device is now working correctly, and the charges were reversed more or less in full. Things I hope Intoxalock would consider for their future clients: Have salespeople be clear about all charges up front. Customesr should know explicitly about the shipping fee and that their account with have device protection by default. Work with customer service on their attitude. Account managers and phone service should not be passing blame to service centers that they vouch for as their business model. Listen to the problems patiently and stop cutting off people talking. Don't make promises you can't keep. Intoxalock doesn't own these service centers. Don't bounce clients around from department to department. Take care of the issue in one place right there on the phone. Lastly, note logs of people calling in with problems and check the invoice department for crossover. A customer should not have to leave a nasty review to get noticed. I hope this helps quality control for the future. Again, thank you for reversing charges on my account, but I would appreciate no more calls to my number to remedy this review. I'll consider reposting at the end of the year if my experience remains better. read more

I have had the device on my car for about two months now. I have done everything perfect, made the payments on time, got the device calibrated like I'm supposed to. I received a letter in the mail today from the secretary of state telling me they got notice that "I have failed to install the BAIID device in my car" and I have 6 days to install the device and if I don't they will cancel my permit. Meanwhile I HAVE THE DEVICE IN MY CAR AND I HAVE BEEN USING IT 100% CORRECTLY. So I called Intoxalock 24 hour help line. The guy basically told me I have to wait until Monday and "I should be fine driving to work the next few days". That answer didn't sit to well with me, I should be? This is my life and freedom at stake here and that is all he could tell me. Then he got mad at me and told me he was hanging up on me. I tried to ask him his name and that is when he hung up on me. So now I'm am in a position where I have done EVERYTHING CORRECTLY and Intoxalock is telling me that I should be ok to drive to work and I should be fine. I need to know that I am 100% good to drive because this is my life and freedom at stake. So now I am in a state of limbo because of some miscommunication between Intoxalock and the Secretary of State. This is terrible business and I am just shocked that the customer service agent just hung up on me. If I had any idea how this company operates I would have gone with anyone else. Not to mention the random charges that constantly show up on my billing statement with no explanation of what they are for. A random $3.00 charge here, a random $7.00 charge there. These little charges add up in addition the the money that they receive every two weeks from me. Avoid this company at all costs. So what am I paying you for Intoxalock if the secretary of state doesn't even think I have the BAIID device in my car? I am just baffled as to how a company can be so incompetant that they can let something like this happen. read more
