Shockingly excellent, with one caveat.
Was staying at the Quality Hotel attached to this restaurant for one night with my family, so we came here for dinner and breakfast (in which we had a free coupon as part of the stay).
For dinner, we each had the french onion soup, and then I had the pan fried cod with pork scrunchions. My mom had the pesto chicken linguini, while my dad had the 8oz striploin, medium.
The french onion soup was excellent, caught me off guard for a place like this where you wouldn't think they specialize in it...but it was really good. The pan fried cod with pork scrunchions was just as good (I probably could've done without the scrunchions though, but it's fine). My mom said her pesto chicken linguini was to her satisfaction. The striploin...was the most overcooked thing my dad has ever eaten. So he requested to swap to the chicken linguini, which the kitchen did end up doing.
Breakfast was good here (especially considered it was included with the stay). No complaints with the food we were served there.
Service was a bit unattentive in the sense that the servers refused to refill our water...and when I asked to refill the water, the server only refilled my water and not my parents (whose glasses were also as empty).
I will say that despite the shortcomings with service, the food here is really good for a hotel restaurant, and I'd still recommend it to those in the area. read more
