The food here was fantastic! It's located inside the El Cid resort. The decor and lighting added to the elegant ambiance of the restaurant.
We started with an antipasto buffet table. They had a variety of cheeses, grilled vegetables, meats, and salads. Don't fill yourself up too much on these items because the food is worth the wait.
Our table ordered the mushroom risotto, pizza margarita, mushroom pizza, and pasta with bacon. The portions were adequate sizes. I had enough risotto for a snack the next day. Everything was really good. I loved the crust of the pizzas. It was soft, yet crunchy. The pasta and risotto were great too.
For dessert we got the lava cake and tiramisu. I found the tiramisu denser than I'm used to and the lava cake could have used more molten chocolate, but the flavors were good. This was our best meal at El Cid. read more
