La Casa Country was a great location near our hotel El CID Moro.. we frequented this place twice.. once was for a birthday dinner and the second time was our last night in Mazatlan dinner. Everyone in the establishment was very professional and very hospitable. They take the time to make you feel at home. Christian was our server he made the best fresh salsa to our level of fuego.. service was outstanding I would recommend this establishment to any of my friends and family. Gracias

    Table side salsa!

My steak was so tender I could have cut it with my fork! Yumm! We went late on a Monday night so the atmosphere was quiet. But the food was great!

Our last night in Mazatlán and my wife's birthday, our friends recommended Las Cas Country. A Mexican style country and western steakhouse. They make salsa tableside, mild, medium and hot. Great waiters, who even perform singing and dancing. Stated with a very good sausage and peppers. For mains, my wife ordered the ribs which she thoroughly enjoyed. It came with fries, cole slaw and cornbread. I ordered the rib-eye which was disappointing. I am a rib-eye lover, not like we get in the states. I got a baked potato with it. They posted my wife birthday on their in house video, and the waiters sang Happy Birthday to her when they brought out a piece of flan cake with her name on it. I ordered a Mexican coffee which was a production. Also had a very good chocolate cake.

A very cool vibe and enough interesting decor to keep your eyes moving for a while.

Just got back this past week from Mazatlan and we always go to La Casa Country. Last year our favorite waiter Omar had left to go to another restaurant but he is back. Omar is the man. He always loves to do his Mexican Coffee pouring the flaming tequila laced coffee standing on a chair above the table. If the place is busy the wait staff will put on their cowboy hats and dance in the middle of the restaurant, but this time, they didn't do it, so our family was very disappointed (the show is just a lot of fun). We personally love the salsa and the fresh hot stewed tomato's used to make it table side. Warm salsa is great! The food is good, no complaints. If you want mean, I would definitely go for the ribs. The steaks are ok but it's not like the U.S. and eating at somewhere like Forbes Mill just makes me a very tough reviewer when it comes to steaks. The bar drinks are GREAT and the margarita's are HUGE so if you go for appetizers, chips, salsa, guacamole (that's really good) and drinks, you'll be very satisfied. It's a good average food place (nothing like El Presidio in central Mazatlan!) However, our buddy Omar who we have known the past seven years really makes the dining experience fantastic. I give 3.5 stars to be fair about the food, but for the service, Omar's smile and hospitality (he introduced my mother-in-law to his mother and brother who happened to be there for dinner...a real classy guy), I'd give Omar 5 stars personally. There is another new waiter there (been there about a year) and he goes by Rambo. If you can't get Omar, ask for Rambo. The two of them make it a great dining experience. 3.5 stars for the food, 5 stars for the wait staff, drinks, chips/salsa table side, huge margaritas. I have to give it 4 overall.

We took a taxi to this spot because of the amazing reviews. Being from America we had been concerned about even salsas, since produce is washed in the water. We ate it here and we didn't get sick. Woohoo. They have bottled water here too. We enjoyed every part of the experience from arrival and being greeted as we made it to the door. They sat us immediately and we enjoyed our 10oz fil)et mignon and our ribeye appetizer that we started off with. Jesus Manuel was our server and he stood by to ensure that we had everything we needed. This was a special evening for my wife and I here in Mazatlan and they kept that experience going. Thank you thank you!

Fresh salsa and guacamole was pretty cool. I like that it was done right in front of me.

The ribs and Molcajete was delicious. Guacamole and salsa is made at your table. It was clean and had good service I would definitely recommend coming here.

Good food and service but don't like the loud TV's blaring music. More like a Ponderosa back home, Western cowboy look.

Very friendly staff and good food. Although this was in the touristy area, it was surprisingly good. Very good carne.

Great service from the waiter. Excellent margaritas. Really good steak fajitas. But the best was the table side guacamole!
