    Manicotti y caneloni
    Kirstin N.

Came here with my family of 5 for dinner last night. It's a great dining atmosphere, romantic but still casual enough and accommodating for children. We had the Margarita pizza, which the kids loved, pollo alla cacciatore, which the husband enjoyed, I enjoyed the manicotti y caneloni and their bread was also great. My son loves alfredo, but theirs was a big miss, will definitely pass on it next time. Not enough flavor. Overall it was an enjoyable meal.

    Stuffed calamari

Located in the Zona Dorado, the tourist area. Nice setting but just ordinary Italian food, I ordered the stuffed calamari, which was ok, My wife ordered a shrimp dish over pasta, just fair. Not easy to get very good Italian food everywhere.

We just finished celebrating my 10 year anniversary here and it was phenomenal! I take back the whole getting sick from pesto thing, truth be told, I shouldn't be eating pesto. When we arrived the table was ready for us (12 adults and 4 kids) and we were provided excellent service from the moment we sat down. I always worry that service will suck due to large group, but nope. My mom had nothing to complain about. Both my parents were impressed with both service and food. My mom asked me to taste her pasta (olive oil with garlic, calamari, and shrimp linguini) and normally that's the "taste how bad this is" or "esta asedo", but she was surprised how delicious it was. We had appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, and drinks... All were good. The best part was the price. The bill came out to 3,072 pesos, not including tip. (By the way most restaurants include tip on bill for such a large , not here. They know they provide good service. So don't forget to tip generously.) This place is across the street from El Cid and Señor Frogs. If my parents loved it, I'm telling you its worth a try.

Best woodfired pizza in Mazatlan & pasta is very good also! They have a nice selection of wine & my husband loves their icey cold mugs-it even freezes the beer it's that cold! We normally get a very nice booth to sit in, it's funny some days the place is packed & you have to wait for a seat & other days there's no problem. It is always worth the wait!

The best seafood pizza in Mazatlán, wood fired and also the calzones off the chart as well !! Highly recommend if your visiting Mazatlán

Before I begin, I would like to put it out there that MY ratings are not "low" standards nor are…read morethey ever false (Ref: Paul Frankfurt 2/2024). I take personal offense. Sorry to those that did not get the opportunity to experience a better dining experience at Angelo's as my friends and did I this week. We even went back to Angelo's for round 2; both dining experiences exceeded our expectations. From the hostesses' initial greeting, staffs' professionalism and appearance, the ambience, the lighting, the decor, various seating locations and sizes, the variety of dishes and drinks and to the attentive and engaging servers (props to our server Alejandro). I will have to stand behind my higher rating on this one. Now, even though I did not find every single dish 100% a personal favorite, each dish presentation had its own uniqueness and taste. Let us also keep in mind the old saying, "beauty is in the eyes of beholder." So, for those that were unhappy, maybe, give Angelo's another chance. Or don't return ....Italian food may not be your jam. Simple. If you've never been to Angelo's, I recommend a must-try. Also, reservation is recommended. My likes: Cesar salad (with very little anchovies), mushroom garlic dish, calamari ripieni di gamberetti, carlaccio di salmon, ribs, clam chowder and fruit mojito drink. I thought I would try gamberi alla busura. I love sauce. Unfortunately, this dish was a non-saucey dish. Also, another seafood dish (don't remember name), was tastey. I prefer regular white rice. The rice on this dish was prepared mashy and wet. I would not order again for those reasons. Price was fair. Thanks to all staff including the Chef and kitchen staff at Angelo's! See you all next time

We always enjoy going to Angelo's for Italian after eating good Mexican all week. It's a lovely…read moreatmosphere with great service. This time we started with poached pear salad, which though small, was quite good. They serve a very nice bread basket. Then I had mushroom truffle risotto, fabulous! Husband had shrimp ravioli, which he thought didn't have enough shrimp taste, was mostly creamy. Don't expect to get a good wine by the glass. They had a great wine list, and we have shared a bottle in the past, but didn't want to this time, and because they're part of Pueblo Bonito they're limited to very few wines by the glass.
