Can't use cash at self checkout, 1 cashier and 5 others watching self checkout. Place is a disaster.

I went to this Aldi grocery store to pickup some: veggies, cheese, and crackers. I was disappointed that a lot of their lettuce products along with other veggies appeared wilted and/or bad. I was able to find the truffle cheese that I love there as well as ritz crackers. I had to wait a long time in line to checkout because there was only one cashier. The cashier didn't talk hardly at all and appeared annoyed. Overall, pretty average experience for an Aldi grocery store. read more

One of the best and most affordable grocery stores in the area, no matter which ALDI location you choose to go to. Produce section can beat out even some of the local organic stores. ALDI has been increasing it's organic sections increasingly, and produce is much fresher any day of the week than other stores. This is mostly due to high demand & turnover and getting up to 3x week fresh deliveries. Did I mention that it is incredibly affordable too? You can't go wrong shopping here. read more

This location is my to go to. Why? I can hit Sams then aldi then hyvee if i need They always have great Products here. Girls night no problem i'll grab all the cheese a bottle of wine and chocolate all for around 20ish bucks. Fabulous! Don't ever change. read more

Buyer beware. Instacart doesn't take returns and Aldi wont accept returns via instacart. . Also. They don't have a good way to look up returns. I had my credit card receipt from company but really weren't happy they had to pause and look it up It was a defective item so the only way I had to deal with it. Be very careful buying merchandise! read more

Pretty new to Aldi's had shopped here years ago, but not regularly. Ran in today to check it out...very impressed, clean, well organized and had a lot more selection than I remembered. Bought their brand of coffee, a super cheap Shiraz and whole wheat bread, can't wait to try them all! I was short on time but will be back, several options for some spring gardens I will consider. Did some looking on their website about their brands and found some great recipes! Not giving it 5 stars yet since I have not tried their brands, but the store was great and SUPER friendly check out clerk! read more

So glad Aldi's has set up in Hiawatha/Cedar Rapids. Really like the store off Blair's Ferry Road. They continue to offer more healthy, vegan, vegetarian options. Extremely efficient checkout people. Prices are very competitive with any other grocer in town. read more

Nothing more, nothing less than I expected from reading about Aldi. Cheap stuff. Walked out with four big bags of staples for ~$90. They don't take credit cards but do take debit and EBT cards. You gotta put down a quarter for a cart, but you get it back again. I didn't buy much in the way of processed stuff, but that got that in spades. Low selection, low price. read more
