I'm an avid Aldi shopper because I love their business practices and my local Aldi in Cordova is amazing and I know every worker by name, however, I stopped by this Aldi today and one of the employees was beyond rude. Semi blonde/light brown haired Caucasian woman with glasses. She was moving the pallet movers around the store and almost hit me with it, TWICE, while looking directly at me. She did not say sorry, did not say excuse me, just began moving a full palette of items towards me and wouldn't stop. I began moving away and she just kept going towards me with it. If I hadn't moved, the boxes on the palette would have absolutely knocked me down and that would have ended up being a VERY huge liability issue for the store. I wouldn't recommend going in here, for safety reasons at this point. Since clearly that woman was having a bad day or something and was on a mission to try to hurt a customer. Insanity. Never coming back here. Cashier was polite though. read more

Let me just start this by saying this is NOT my first rodeo at an Aldi store. However, this was my first time at this particular location. I felt like this was set up to be very user-friendly to navigate - especially compared to some of the other Aldi configurations. (It honestly can be overwhelming and confusing at first!) The staff was friendly, the lot was big, the carts are parked and covered at the side of the building, and this is a large location so they have many offerings! The biggest unhappiness with this visit was the produce. Their produce section was a bit lacking here, however, and many of the berries looked awful. But I've come to find produce - especially berries - can be extremely hit and miss. Lastly, this location is open until 8pm on Sunday which is a novelty in the area. Happy shopping, y'all! read more

Incredibly rude cashier. I'm a new shopper here and she couldn't been nicer about the rules of how to check out and bag. Line was backed up down the isle while other employees were gossiping about management and how they hate their schedule instead of doing their job. read more

We just went in for some milk because at Walmart you gotta go to the very back to get it and I figured at Aldi it'd be faster as it's smaller. Well strategy would've worked but for the fact that there was only one check out open with several folks waiting g. Doh! I don't know. I just don't get the whole Aldi set up. Folks were struggling to get the shopping carts. I didn't go check to see if you gotta put a quarter in like before. Looked like they charged for paper bags too at the check out. I decided to just carry my milk out unbagged. And there was only one line open with several customers waiting. read more

I like this store. But unfortunately, sometimes I had found on the shelves expired items. Also I suggest, for the employees and management, to work on being a little bit more friendly with the customers. read more

This is not my regular grocery store because when in TN I am partial to the selections and lots of the specialties that I find at Kroger and even sometimes Fresh Market and when in AL it's Publix or Rousse's and with those you can get fresh sushi and big selection of cheeses and baked goods but for just groceries, well let's face it, Aldi prices are way better than Kroger or those others and their customer service is usually pretty darn good with no chance if a self friggin' checkout out. Sure if you want to get in and out of a smaller store more quickly while saving some money there's some downsides like it can get really busy and cramped at times, because they tend to jam stuff prett toght together and on top of other stuff, but everything still runs smoothly. I also notice you should be careful of some of the produce because if you aren't paying vett close attention you might grab something packaged that was rotten or close to it, it's happened to me. Yes, it does take a quarter to get a buggy, but remember that when you turn in the cart you get your quarter back, relax. There's an urban legend that Aldi charges you 25¢ just to use a cart. Yay!! Love that can get my fix of European chocolate here as they have German brands (now if only they would also stock Belgium and French, that would've awesome!) It's a huge parking lot and yay! First signage we saw was that Aldi was not accepting credit card payment!! Big WOOT! I was impressed by the vanilla ice-cream we purchased -only 4 ingredients (cream, milk, sugar, vanilla) and actually when got home, there was one in the freezer from Whole Foods with Gums and Carrageen's so you know where I plan to now go shopping for ice-cream from! But not everything is clean and good ingredients - I went to look at the pie crust and there it was full of artificial stuff so avoided that. Avacadoes and bananas plus other fresh vegetables was a great price, and had organic options. As another con, there is no whole milk organic option - the organic milk is only skin or 2%. I was also really pleased at check-out responsiveness. The line was getting a bit long, so they opened up another check-out. Will def return for certain items! read more

I don't know what I thought an Aldi had but I don't feel like this was it. There wasn't really anything there I wanted to buy. I do think their idea of making you put a quarter in a cart to use it is a genius idea to get their carts back. I also can appreciate the push for people to use their own bags. But I just don't see much need to return here except for when their produce goes on sale, like their avocados. read more

I love Aldi! Fruits are always fresh, the staff is friendly and the sales are always a steal. The prices have gone up recently though.

I was standing in the (long) checkout line when an employee was coming up pushing a cart saying "excuse me" on repeat. I moved up so that they could get through the line behind me as it was my understanding that they wanted to get by. It wasn't verbalized, but apparently she wanted to go down the checkout line itself. I was then, from behind, pushed out of the way with the excuse me's still on repeat and no further clarification on her desired path. If the intentions were verbalized i could have moved myself without having to be shoved aside. Not sure what kind of training environment advises force as the primary method of communication. read more

Great store. I don't need name brand cereal or big expensive stuff when it comes to the basics. Very no-frills, you even have to bring your own bags (which I do anyway). Decent produce and decent general selection of items. I know I'll be saving a lot here. read more

I love Aldi! It looks so great since the remodel. Much more space and easy to navigate. Also the best grocery prices in town. I don't ever find it to be too crowded and the check out lines are usually short. This is always my first stop for groceries. They don't usually have everything on my list so sometimes I pick up the rest at Kroger or Trader Joe's but Aldi is definitely my favorite! read more

A new and welcome addition to Collierville! It's across the street from the Walmart. Because it's brand new, the store is very clean and the carts all work really well. All the merchandise is the Aldi house brand (but people say that they're big name brands, rebranded under the Aldi brands). Their business model is to be extremely low-frills in exchange for really really low prices. I like going here to pick up staples like dried pasta, jarred pasta sauce, boxed cereals, chips/cookies, yogurt, rice, beans, flour/sugar, salt/pepper, mayo. I'd definitely check it out, the price savings really add up (I think at least 20% less than Kroger/Schnucks) and it's totally worth the inconvenience of having to bag your own groceries or depositing a quarter for a cart. read more
