They close every year from Christmas to Valentine's Day. It's later in the fall now. So lots of pumpkins! We get mums here every Fall. Love this place! The fruit and veggies are always great too! On Manchester you will see that red roof and you must stop in to get farm fresh tomatoes, apples, peppers, berries, zucchini, and more! They have a fantastic farm egg selection that was $1 a dozen once! We love their royal red shrimp and octopus selections! And be sure to check them out during crawfish season for their amazing boils! We sat on their patio and had a delicious meal! They also will boil anything you buy in store too. I think they said they were going to do a fish fry and lobster roll event soon too! But this year everything I was finding was more then twice the price of previous years. I drove by Imperial Produce on my way to Kimmswick and saw the plants outside. I popped in and the prices were reasonable! The plants also looked amazing - healthy, nicely potted and they had multiple different price points depending on what you were looking for. Inside they also have fresh produce (as the name suggests) and jams and butters and bread. This is a very small place with limited parking. It was hard getting in to pay with my plants but I didn't want to leave them outside because they were very busy and I didn't want someone else to take my plants... If you plan to buy a lot it may be helpful to alert an employee when you get there that you need help. An employee did offer to help me and I took some advice from him. But then I took a very long time mosying around and trying to make a decision and he was not available when I finally made my decision.

It's a small outdoor market and may not look like much from the road, but it's definitely worth it to stop and shop. I shop for hanging baskets here because their blooms are just overflowing, abundant and just spilling out so beautifully that you can't even see the hanging basket! They also have a nice small selection of fruits and veggies and some unexpected items like colorful Mexican pottery, outdoor art, and Corinthian chimes. Service is very friendly and helpful. Homemade, ready to eat items in the cooler - salsa, fruit salad, cucumber salad, coleslaw, and pasta salad. Great selection of deli meats and cheeses. Along with Million Dollar Pickles (reasonable priced at $5 bucks), candies, and seasonings. Plus all the essentials - milk, eggs, bread and of course fresh fruits and veggies at good prices.
