Seafood available was salmon, shrimp, crawfish , crab legs , lobster etc. Staff does crawfish boils and other boils in front of the store which I thought was cool. The best family owned and ran grocery market in the west! This small yet very mighty market is the best place to pick up the freshest produce and seafood. On Manchester you will see that red roof and you must stop in to get farm fresh tomatoes, apples, peppers, berries, zucchini, and more! They have a fantastic farm egg selection that was $1 a dozen once! We love their royal red shrimp and octopus selections! And be sure to check them out during crawfish season for their amazing boils! We sat on their patio and had a delicious meal! They also will boil anything you buy in store too. I think they said they were going to do a fish fry and lobster roll event soon too! I respect the hustle from this store! I see so much advertisement from here, and heartfelt posts from the family who runs it. I drove out based on ads that I wanted to take advantage of. The store is small, but each square inch of space is used to maximum advantage. They fit a lot in here! I got what I came for, plus a bit more. I got some fruit that came in a large amount, and the cashier cut off the amount I was wanting to pay for - i so appreciated that, as every dollar counts in this economy! This place is a must stop for seafood lovers. The pricing could not be better! The crab legs were the size of my arm! They were even dipping chocolate covered strawberries and Oreos today. They do it for Valentine's Day, mother's Day, and Easter. We spent $230.00 on this stop and walked aways an arm load. $80 in snow crab for dinner, and $13 a pound for shrimp 21/25. The shop is right so leave the large purse and jacket in the car. The environment is fast, friendly and they get you checked out quick. Do I recommend this place? Yes! Not so much for their produce, which is how they started everything off, but more for their seafood. A little higher price that what you would think would be a good deal but much better product compared to other options in the area. I absolutely love that they do seafood boils. It's too bad that crawfish season only comes around once a year because I could eat this stuff 24/7/365. Join their email list or follow them on facebook to be kept up to date with the goings on, especially the specials and special events. Great place for your seafood needs, ok place for produce but be aware that if you get produce there it has to be eaten or used within a day or two. Even they will acknowledge that. Came into the store to get shrimp for a boil but Got excited that somewhere in the area had "live" gulf crawfish as we just moved here from Louisiana. The gal said they still had some bags of live crawfish, so We spent $300 on a 35 lb sack (outrageous, I know but we love a good crawfish boil). When I tried to make sure they were moving, the employee said they'd been on ice but assured us they were alive. We got them home and purged them to find nearly half the sack was dead. I called to see what they'd do for us and the guy said they don't guarantee that they're alive and that it was the "employees bad" for not warning us they'd had them since Friday and probably weren't still good. It's normal to have a few dead in a sack from getting crushed or just dying, but half a sack? Bad business. Then, instead of trying to make it right, the owner blamed me, like I should've known their product had been out of water since Friday, which we had no idea and weren't warned by staff. We did not pre order, we showed up In person, and a simple, "these have been here since Friday and we can't guarantee anything" would've directed us another direction. He also said he's boiled over 1000 pounds of crawfish without losing 10 pounds.... And We threw away over 10 pounds of dead crawfish from our bag, so the fact that they say they've never had that much loss tells me they're probably boiling them already dead. Gross. He also basically called me a liar, stating they only charge $5.99 per pound, but We were charged $7.99 per pound, for 35 pounds plus tax we were charged right over $300. Avoid this place and this business owner. I should've researched and checked reviews prior to visiting. I see I'm not the only one who's been burned by this business. It's sad because those who are leaving good reviews probably don't know the difference and are getting ripped off by this company. read more

This family owned business is mainly a store to buy Seafood. plants, Fruits and veggies but every weekend they are having a Crawfish Boil!! It's incredibly disappointing to see a business stoop so low as to steal photos from another small-town business. It takes a serious lack of creativity and professionalism to stalk another company's Facebook page and repost their hard-earned content as your own. Instead of building their own brand with original work, they chose the lazy and unethical route. Prices are outrageous on everything. I went in for some walleye when I got there the only wall that they had were a little bitty, tiny strips of walleye that still had the skin on them so by the time you would strip the skin of them you would have absolutely hardly any meat left. I explained this to my son which lives in Chesterfield, and it's familiar with this place. He said dad I'm glad you did not buy anything which I did. I bought some catfish instead of walleye he said dad I don't know if I would eat it or not. They killed a person because of bad muscles they were selling. I will never go back there again. Prices are absolutely insanely high, huge crabs and huge lobsters. Definitely the biggest crab legs I've ever seen in my life, but you better bring plenty of cash if you plan on buying from there. read more

I just stop in here occasionally to pick up fruits sometimes. They are a very friendly group. They always have smiles on their faces. And are always ready to help when asked or needed. First time visiting & I went with my daughter. She had been before and told me how good it was. I was very impressed at the selection of wonderful homegrown tomatoes and veggies. They also carry seafood, and frozen meat (I believe from Kenricks in SC). The place is very small but they pack the produce, etc in very well and pretty organized. The tomatoes I purchased were gigantic and soooo good. I am going back this week to get more! and also maybe seafood and a few pork steaks, which were very lean. The owners always greet us like we are family. They have a plethora of produce, seafood, and bulk items. Their sales are fabulous. This past spring I was able to get a quart of strawberries for $1.99. And they didn't taste like bland winter greenhouse strawberries. Produce is never fresh. Crab legs always taste muddy. I supported because of who worked there but now that I know for a fact ( there is proof) the owners treat their employees like garbage and talk down on them instead of building morale. I and everyone I talk to by word of mouth will no longer come here. Who the h*ll wants to work for someone or even do a good job for someone who talks down on them all the time? From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Each and every employee in that store either spoke to me or asked if I needed any assistance. That is how you win people over. They were not only courteous, and considerate, they were knowledgeable and honest when answering my questions. I tasted the watermelon lemonade in store and purchased a half gallon mango lemonade. Some of the best homemade lemonade I've had in quite a while. I grabbed some fish for my family and an yellow watermelon. I haven't eaten any of the produce but I'm certain it will exceed expectations. It's clean and doesn't smell like other places that I've been to that serve seafood. They once brought in their sick kids with covid into the store and had them messing with all of the product. They sell a lot of moldy food and don't bother to rotate them. Their store leaks when it rains. They claim that they sell fresh seafood when I would pull them out of named brand boxes, and then would market them 35% more than what dirbergs would sell them for. I truly do not recommend visiting this store. read more

We went for the crawfish boil. They gave us a pick-up time and when we went, our order was not complete. We had to wait about 20 minutes for them to boil the rest of our order. The good news is that it was quite tasty and hot. I would definitely go back! read more

Fresh Seafood and the service was awesome!! The owners were friendly, had giving me good advice about how to prepare my crawfish. I bought fresh crawfish, and The Beautiful Lady was telling me how to prepare my crawfish , this was My first time cooking them. the fruit looked fresh . The vegetables were good and they had samples to try. They will also cook whatever You buy on the weekends. After all the great reviews I finally made it in today and was completely underwhelmed. It was kinda dirty in appearance and they had live lobsters in a small box stacked on top of one another on a table. No saltwater tank for them--that's just cruel in my book and not respectful treatment of something you plan to consume. We bought King crab legs and they were so not worth what we spent. I'd rather pay a little more at Costco and have a meal that knocks my socks off. Sorry guys--I won't be returning. read more

Beware of bagged fruit on their $1 shelf. We bought 2 grapefruits in a bag. Cut one when we got home, and it was all moldy inside -- so we basically got 1 grapefruit for $1. See photo. Visited this location for the first time today around 3pm, as I'm in the store walking around of course I'm being starred down! No one spoke but soon as Caucasian customers comes in all I hear Loudly is Hi how are you today? So when I make it to the counter to pay for my watermelon they turned their backs, so I'm standing there while they're just talking. I literally had to ask if someone was going to ring me up!!! It was four females behind the counter, the human who checked me out had long hair and look like she had a mustache.
