I've been a regular at this Dollar General for a long time, and I've never had an experience like I…read moredid. From the moment I walked in, I felt uncomfortable. I greeted the workers like I always do, but the energy was off immediately. It seemed like there was a new employee working, which normally wouldn't be an issue, but the attitude I received was completely unexpected. When I got to the register, things got even worse. I usually come in with my sister and we do two separate transactions to get cash back. It's convenient for me because I'm a full-time student working 12-hour shifts, and my bank is a 20-minute drive away. Cashback saves me time and stress. As soon as I selected cash back, the cashier began huffing, puffing, and slamming things around. She looked visibly irritated. When I tried to do a second transaction, she told me no--which I completely understood. But then another employee chimed in loudly, saying, "This isn't a bank." That comment was unnecessary, rude, and honestly felt like a microaggression. Obviously I know this isn't a bank, and there was no reason to speak to me that way. I left feeling highly disrespected. I even came back in because I forgot one item, and the cashier slammed my purchase on the counter with the same attitude. I have never experienced anything like this at this store despite coming here regularly. The behavior was unprofessional, aggressive, and completely unacceptable. I truly hope management addresses this, because no other customer should ever be treated like that.

I also added ginger. It was yummy! The following week, I tried the Metabolism Boost Chocolate Banana. This smoothie contains bananas, nonfat milk, a protein blend, Gladiator® Protein Vanilla, 100% cocoa, a fiber blend enhancer, and a metabolism boost enhancer. I became addicted to it, so for the next two weeks, I ordered the same thing. The location on Barry Road has a 20 oz option, but you get a 32 oz for the same price. "WINNING!" He said he didn't have the key and moved away from. Did he know anyone with a key? Nope, dull-eyed stare...ok thanks. Fortunately, an end cap of razors didn't need someone to open it and I snagged that. So, if you need something that's behind a locked case maybe come in the daytime or be willing to commit a misdemeanor, I doubt the staff would stop you anyways.
