    I love their soups
    Tracy P.

I like coming to Aldi's. This is one of my favorite grocery stores out of a select few. When I get into the parking lot, I get all my gadgets ready to shop. I grab my shopping list, reading glasses, insulated cooler bags, my large, medium, and small cloth grocery bags, my gloves, face mask, and alcohol wipes/sanitizer. Then I go get my grocery cart. I love putting a quarter in the quarter slot to retrieve a cart. It's like putting a quarter in one of those kiddie rides, that used to be in front of the grocery stores. You put the quarter in, and your child sits back, and enjoys the ride. Well, when I put my quarter in, my cart detaches from the other carts, leaves the starting gate, and begins It's journey through the store, with me in tow (Lol!!) As I enter the store, I notice that this Aldi's is a much larger grocery store, compared to the ones I used to shop at in California. The produce, and meat department here is much larger in comparison, and the variety is vast. Shopping at Aldi's (for me) is always exciting. They have new, and different varieties of food, and non food items that you wouldn't normally find in your everyday grocery store. When I'm here, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I can't wait to turn the corner to see what I'll find next. My everyday go-to favorites are their plump, and meaty (bone in) ribs, bacon wrapped filet-minon, and their excellent selections of breads, cheese, soups, and spices. Some of my new found favorites are their adjustable bed food trays, steel BBQ cooking utensils, kitty scratch-bed, and their plug-in illuminated letter boards. The prices here are so reasonable, you might be tempted to seriously stock up. It's easy to see how one could become addicted to this store. There is something great around every corner. Including a nice, knowledgeable associate working on every-other aisle (I really love it). From their parking lot, to the inside of the store. It is a very clean, inviting, and friendly place to shop.

    Great deals around every turn

First. Be sure to have a quarter with you because one way they keep the prices low is by not having to worry about cart runners. You borrow your cart and when you return it you get your quarter back. Second when you walk in the door you notice just how great the prices are. Great.produce and they even carry organic! They even carry gluten-free items. During the holidays they carry a lot of scandanavian selections as well. This place is fantastic!

(I still love you too though!) Just don't forget to bring a quarter for a cart and your own shopping bags.

They were selling green bell peppers for forty-nine cents a pound, which is a great deal. However, these peppers looked a bit old and were at the end of their life expectancy. They also had a meat market, but I did not get over to check it out as I was working that day and had a full day ahead of me and there was no way the meat products would survive in my car that long. They do also have a few aisles of grocery items and I was very happy to find that they carried the Puerto Rican hot sauce called Mi Madre Pique, which I discovered on a business trip to Puerto Rico and have since been a huge fan. I picked up a few bottles, one for myself and one for my son. Each bottle was a bit over five dollars, which is I guess a competitive price and a cheaper option than flying to Puerto Rico to pick up a few more bottles. It is very conveniently located, being basically on the corner of John Young Parkway and Vine Street. It is not a bad place to check out and has great prices, but as I have mentioned before, you do get what you are paying for. I guess three stars is a fair rating. Good prices, but the produce should be more fresh. By all means, go check it out. Just don't get carried away and buy something just because it was cheap just to throw it out in a day or two because it rotted.

I initially thought Orange World was a fruit market because of the citrus stands outside; however, once inside, I realized it was also a gift shop. There was a large selection of citrus-themed souvenirs, Disney-themed souvenirs, key chains, mugs, plush toys, and so much more. I was informed by a gentleman who works there that the fresh citrus (navel oranges, tangerines, honeybells, and grapefruits) can be sold individually or in a bag at a reasonable price. Citrus fruit samples are available for tasting. There are also citrus trees available for sale as well. I was really amazed by the sweetness of the honeybell orange, which I learned was a cross between a tangerine and a white grapefruit. I ended up purchasing one of them and a tangerine. That was a very unique experience. Will definitely come back and visit again.

I decided this summer today was the day I'd finally step inside and see what it was all about. I was pretty underwhelmed when I went inside. I wasn't expecting greatness, but I was expecting more orange-related foods and objects. It felt like 60% to 70% of the store was filled with knock off Disney paraphernalia. I figured it'd be a tourist trap and it definitely is. I checked it off my to-do list and browsed the place but I didn't find anything worthy to purchase.

The next day I went to the refrigerator for the asparagus I bought the day before. The tips were definitely faded and the following day the tips were rotten. I was careful in selecting the spears because I hate it when the tips are "fraying" a sure sign that they are way past their prime. Today the slightly unripe tomato I selected was on its way to rotting. The parsley that I rinsed and kept in a jar with water is past. The "Prime" NY strip steak was grizzled and tough. Im pretty much not going to shop here again and drive to Whole Foods That has a much better selection. And it looks like more turnover. Always a good sign of freshness and quality. I used to shop in the fresh market in West Palm. Never had a problem. This one is a major disappointment. every time I shop there it seems there's a group of employees messing around with the displays. I wonder what the hell they are doing. Obviously not checking on the quality of produce and meat. Just rearranging snacks and candy. Too bad. Shame on Fresh Market.

There was a nice variety of vendors selling crafts, fresh foods, baked goods, and more, along with live music that gave the market a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We considered buying a loaf of bread but decided to pass this time. My son ordered a coconut drink served inside a pineapple, which was a fun experience. The ironic part is that he's mildly allergic to pineapple, so he only drank the coconut water while my husband happily ate the pineapple itself! It gave us a laugh, and I reminded my son that next time it's perfectly okay to ask if the drink can be served another way or to mention his allergy before ordering. Overall, this is a charming little market that fits the character of the town. It's a great place to wander, browse, listen to music, and enjoy the local atmosphere. I don't know how many times I would need to go here but it was a fun stop for us. It was very sunny out so make sure you wear a hat or take a walk by the water where there are trees and benches.

It got so bad that at contract renewal they were forced to accept new vendors but the quality of stands has been declining and the cost of goods is insanely high. Too bad the town loses a lot of its charm because outsiders bring a bad vibe in.
