It was just vanilla and the wafer was stale but fun to look at. There was also meat-looking ice cream bars that looked like crunchy fried chicken and also steak. I wish I had tried those instead. The ramen abomination was like $18. I'm not sure what possessed me to ingest it... maybe it was the strange videos advertising it on the screens where the elote was pumping in and out of the ramen container and causing it to overflow. I've literally been going there since I was a wee girl. They've got a market that's open year round where you can get some of the best local made and grown goods, including from their own land. When my daughter was little we would visit the pumpkin patch each year and take hayrides. I love the old-timey truck right at the entrance too. So many fond and delicious memories.

There's a bakery, a deli, a little lunch spot, groceries, candies, home goods etc. I want to highlight the little wine section with the kindest lady working there. She gave us a tour of the entire place - that's how we found out the place was much more than meets the eye! We sampled several different wines, and purchased several! One of the wines sold there supports a rescue group with every sale. We bought some jams (birthday gifts), honey and hot sauces from the store. Traverse out back, there's the original barn that is a gift shop (3 stories), lots of unique items, a farm petting barn of animals rescued from slaughterhouses, a separate store for those with allergies that they can shop specific allergen friendly food. An ice cream stand, a hard cider ale house and some play areas for the children. We stopped in the arsenal ale house to have a drink and that was delicious too! We were hungry after and were looking for place to eat then we remembered there was a little lunch spot in the store so back in we went! Perfect tied over lunch, great sandwiches, pickles have got to be homemade. Drinks from cooler- super refreshing. Definitely will be back.

On the farm's website, I also read that throughout the year, Shenot Farm offers events such as hayrides; pick-your-own flowers, apples, and pumpkins; and pumpkin-smashes. In the autumn they sell flowers, pumpkins, cornstalks, Thanksgiving turkeys, and fruit baskets, and in the winter they sell Christmas trees and wreaths. On a Saturday, my husband and I visited this farm's market to browse their foods. We parked our vehicle in their free parking lot. Inside the market, we saw foods such as lettuce, cabbage, green beans, brussels sprouts, beets, plums, sausages, chicken meats, eggs, milk, cheeses, apple ciders, cookies, pies, fudges, popcorns, jams, bread loaves, bagels, seasonings, sauces and dressings, salsas, applesauces, syrups, dessert mixes, granolas, teas, honeys, ice creams, etcetera! We also saw some non-food items such as candles and t-shirts. I selected an orange-colored "cheddar" cauliflower head, apple crisp mix, caramel-apple-pie fudge, and jars of banana butter, strawberry jelly, and apple butter. My husband and I had not previously eaten a few of the unique products, so we felt excited to try them. At the checkout counter, an employee promptly greeted us, accurately rang up our purchase, carefully bagged our foods, and thanked us. Each food cost roughly several dollars.
