They have bulk dry ingredients, one of them being organic barley which I cannot buy at the corporate grocery in my town. They do have an extensive supplement section. Healthier choices for snack foods, some toiletries, and an incredibly large section of chocolates at the register. The owners are super friendly and greet everybody as they enter. Since my first shopping experience, I've been back several times even though it is about a 30 minute drive for me one way. I highly recommend this small business, especially if you were looking for organic and all natural foods.

The parking lot is also huge! The carts are older, but still do the trick. You will need a quarter for a cart, which you will get back upon return. Unfortunately in NY, Aldi does not have alcohol. The inside is either newer or recently remodeled. I couldn't believe how much selection there was comparatively. The prices here are lower than anywhere else 99% of the time for almost every item. It is completely a myth that Aldi is anything like a dollar or cheap store. The items are high quality and there are many foodie finds here. The company just finds other ways to keep its prices low, such as the carts, no bags, and limited staffing. The produce is fresh, as well as the meats and dairy. My favorite thing here is the limited time finds (food and items such as plants or grills). On this particular visit I came in to snag some of their limited find Coffee plants. I was luckily enough to get some of the last ones! The staff was super helpful and fellow customers were seen helping each other all over the store! Great spot!

I've always heard they have some decent stuff and some prices at ALDI are lower than regular markets. They do have a good variety of stuff, from name brand items to some generic stuff that seems to be a lot cheaper than other places. We were able to load up on groceries that will last a few days and the total price was not too bad. Upon arrival you will notice a clean and well kept parking lot (without carts everywhere). When you enter the store you are instantly in the large produce section. It is split into organic and non organic items. The produce quality is good and some of it is locally sourced. Next you will walk through the bakery where many of their items are housemade, or again, locally sourced. You can find tomato pie as well as Hemstroughts half moons. My favorite is their pistachio muffins. Get there early because they run out quick! The deli and cheese sections are fairly run of the mill. They have some natural or organic items but not a lot. The dairy, beer, and frozen sections are ok. Overall the store is clean, well organized, and rarely will you find something that is expired. My parents have had really good luck with the pharmacy here too.

They call out local or local-ish products on little signs throughout the store. They do not have a great selection of international produce and I'd recommend Lucky Mey's on Oneida Street for anything not in a standard American diet. However, make sure you stop at Aldi down the road first for produce. They stock the same brands (Driscolls, Foxy) for almost half the price. Then make your way to Hannaford for what you can't get at Aldi.
