This is a true story of caveat emptor and/or "you get what you pay for". Yes, I got a ton of questionable produce for $26.00 but much of it was sub par - the entire box of strawberries ($2.69) which seemed ok in the store got super mushy during the 40 minute ride home. Had to throw out 3/4 of the box. The bag of tri color peppers (again - looked fine to me) - one of the 3 was rotten inside (Looked ok outside - cut into it and YUCK.) I have not yet tried my 95 cent (yes, really) 12 oz bag of frozen brocolli. I hope it's edible. Luckily I remembered to bring my bag this time - as with all ALDI you must BYO bag. I really dislike Aldi. I try to do it - I try and try and I am always disappointed. The prices are cheap - yes - but I prefer to buy edible, fresh food. I did not purchase any meat or dairy. And I never will again. (Bad experience at another Aldi). I gotta just stop. read more

Good store find the prices reasonable. And i find some very good food options you dont see at certain other grocery stores.

Aldi has been around since I was a child growing up in Philly. I have continued to shop at this grocer even in my mid-30s. This store chain has greatly expanded outside of the city into the suburban/rural areas over the last 2-3 decades. I'm glad they closed the old location on Doylestown Road in Montgomeryville and relocated to the former Whole Foods in the Gwynedd Crossing Shopping Center. I come here for my staple items and hit up other grocers for meats/seafood. Cost is low and the quality is decent. Just be sure to bring your own reusable shopping bags so you don't have to buy any plastic/paper bags at checkout. Or you could just find an empty packaging box in the store and carry your groceries out that way. Your choice. read more

So she serves the older Caucasian man but not me (A.A.) So I go in the store to p/u a few items. As I'm leaving, I see checkout #1 close ( with a 'closed' sign), so I go to checkout #4, where cashier Anthony who is kind, quick, and complimentary. While that is happening, an older white gentleman puts his purchases on her conveyer belt, and she just helps him like any customer who does not look like me. Are we still doing this in 2022? ok, I'll never come to this Aldis again, hint taken. read more

This is a brand new Aldi location. If you've never been to an Aldi, it's a good low cost grocery store that has great staples and some decent deals. Best advice I have for you is to bring your own bags, a quarter for a cart "rental", and patience. The cashiers are quick, efficient, and friendly. read more

I've worked retail and I've never been so disappointed in retail service. I went there and a bunch of people were in line to check out. A cart of shipping boxes was by the shelf and a product I wanted was in one. The other box was ripped open and a couple products were taken. I began to open a box to purchase a product and an employee came out and asked me what I thought I was doing. I asked them if they could open the box so I could purchase the one item. The employee laughed and said no. I decided I'd take my business elsewhere. I would've gladly helped a customer in my retail gig. read more

This Aldi is new and awesome. Since it's new, everything is very up-to-date and spacious. Overall, Aldi is a very affordable grocery store. You can't necessarily get named brand items, but if that's not a concern then you should definitely go here. My husband and I have shopped at Aldi for years. We save so much money by shopping here! You do need a quarter to get a cart, so don't forget that. Also, you'll want to bring your own reusable bags.l read more
