I'm not sure what it was from, but it grossed me out. I'm not a fan of their checkout, or the way you need a quarter for carts. I didn't need much, so I just carried my grocery bag in and put my stuff in it. I unloaded it on the belt, and they put it in the cart at the end. I paid, and they started putting the next person's stuff in the same cart before I had a chance to get mine out. I find that very strange. I only had like 5 things. It's OK to run in and get a few things, but I can't do my regular grocery shopping here.

Was able to grab snacks for the ride home for a fraction of the price of Wegmans and even Walmart. Pretty much everything was in stock. You'll find gift shop items and seasonal things (pumpkins, corn stalks, and grape pies for the first of October). A nice thing about their mulch is that they'll load it into your car for you. They have a vast produce section. Prepared foods has so many delicious fresh and pre-made options (the subs are basically a local delicacy), and there is a beautiful upstairs eatery. In Nature's Market you can find gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, organic products. There is a pharmacy so you can easily pick up medication while you shop. The aisles in this store are nice and wide, and they have some really well done specialty sections and displays. This isn't the store that I normally shop at and it's set up differently than most I've been to, so I often use the Wegmans app to figure out which aisle I want to be in, which is a convenient plus. Employees at Wegmans as always are friendly and helpful. My ONLY complaints about Wegmans stores in general is that they have become a bit pricey with their prepared foods, and it can sometimes be hard to find name brands with certain products. When it comes to shopping though Wegmans has always been my go to because I love the ambiance. :)

She described how she wanted the decorations - it was for 2 birthdays and one graduation - so a big cake for a lot of people. I went to pick up the cake. It was July 4th weekend so very busy in the store. I went to the bakery and asked about the cake. The person I talked to must have been having a rough day - no greeting, no smile - just asked me something about catering. I said I didn't know, I didn't order it - I'm just here to pick it up. She told me to go up front to the catering area (near the registers). They had the cake up there. I looked at it and it truly looked like a 2-year old had written it. It was not fancy writing like I expected, just sloppy as though they were in a hurry. And, one of the names was spelled wrong (Carole, not Carroll). The staff person did say they could fix the name, and they did, but according to my sister, they did not follow any of her instructions on how the cake should look. Very disappointing! I asked the manager for a discount and his response was, "Everyone on our team has their talents." And I get that, but have someone with talent do the cake writing. So, $50 later, we got a plain chocolate cake, buttercream frosting with child-like writing (not even any filling in the cake), and I got a headache. Not worth it. I will go to a small, local bakery next time I need a cake.
