However, Ivanna at the deli counter is by far the best I have encountered since the store opened. I believe that employees should be recognized for exceptional service when it is deserved. Ivanna always greets customers with a smile and is eager to assist them. I hope management acknowledges her efforts and recognizes her outstanding service. Great employees are hard to find and retain. Rosa in the bakery department is unfortunately at the other end of the spectrum. Rosa is so rude and unhelpful that my wife avoids the bakery department completely! I, on the other hand, will not let one rude and unprofessional employee keep me from any department in that store. I have asked Rosa time and time again for assistance in getting fresh bread, only to be told that there is none available to bake (even though I can see there is in the background) or that they first have to sell what is in the baskets. Both are incorrect answers to a customer. I run my own business, and my employees know that the customer is always right. I only hope that management corrects this problem promptly, because one toxic employee can ruin the rest of the team.

Almost an entire aisle of gluten free products is wonderful as these are usually underrepresented in most grocery stores.

I finally had the chance to visit the Peach Festival at Windy Acres Farm, and I had a great time!…read moreThere were so many peach-flavored treats and products to browse, and I enjoyed picking up a variety of items to take home. I did think some of the produce was priced a bit higher than I expected, but overall it was still a fun experience. I also finally tasted the peach slushy. It needed more peach flavor, but it was refreshing, considering how warm it was outdoors. One of my favorite treats was the peach funnel cake. I asked them to add ice cream to make it a sundae, and it was absolutely delicious! One suggestion I'd love to see in the future would be a homemade peach puree or peach syrup to drizzle on top. I think that would take it to the next level. I didn't purchase admission to the area with the petting zoo and other family activities, so I also missed out on the beer garden and grilled food. I think it would be a great idea to have a few food trucks or additional food vendors near the farm stand for visitors who are just there to shop or enjoy the festival without entering the activity area. I definitely would have spent more on food if that had been an option. Overall, I had a wonderful visit!

They have a hayride, they have ski ball, they have basketball hoops, they have a bouncing, trampoline, kind of thing, they have blueberries and blueberry shortcake and pies, they have jams and jellies, and definitely lots of sweet, amazing corn. I would say that it's fun and it's great for the kids. They also had an amazing magician and he really did a great job with these tricks. But I would say that the quality of the processed foods had full of color and hydrogenated oils and soybean flour and it's not very healthy. The slushy's also contained lots of food coloring and not much fruit. And the blueberry pie had mostly gelatin like filling and not much blueberry. They had a corn Flight for $12 of four half corn ears and they had different flavors and the corn was amazing. Plenty of Free Parking. If the rain comes, it gets muddy so you might need galoshes or your Hunter boots. It's $18 per person to get in. If you're under two years old is free and for a nine dollar up charge per person you can ride all the rides unlimited.

The other day I called the customer service desk from one of their red phones and asked for someone to open a dressing room for me. The woman asked where I was. I'm not sure, but I don't think there are any other dressing rooms. Anyway, she finally came over and did not say a word to me. I said hi, someone has been in the other room for a while She smirked and walked away. I wanted to communicate non-verbally as well with a one finger wave. I have learned that going to Meijer requires a couple of things (especially on the weekend): 1) Do not plan to get out of there quickly. Go with the mindset that you will be there for a while, especially when trying to check out. 2) Don't expect friendly employees. You won't be disappointed this way. 3) Don't expect friendly customers. Most customers do not follow the first 2 rules here and are agitated. 4) Go with the attitude that everyone else is a joke. Watch the unhappy customers, unhappy employees, and those of us that follow the suggestions listed in 1,2, & 3. You'll know which ones we are. Stay relaxed and you'll be fine.

The staff went above and beyond to make the day special - they were so kind, warm, and incredibly attentive, keeping the kids engaged the whole time with thoughtful games and activities. Walking in it has the feeling of an old time candy story with its own modern twist. The front of the store is candy from all different countries and as you walk in there are little play areas for kids, along with their boba tea menu. The back of the store is set up for the birthday parties and they coordinate everything for you. The party host kept the kiddos entertained and engaged throughout the whole time. It's small so I don't know that it can hold a large number I think this party was about 10-12 kids. I'd say this might be for older kids 5 or 6 and up that can sit still with activities it's not a place to run around or get wild like a park for example. Overall super cute and great experience will definitely visit again.
