To start I love the area that Copeland Springs is located in. I could not decide what I wanted so I got their pick three platter with the toast bite with homemade ricotta, lemon curd, and spring strawberry salad. My grand total was just $11 and they have a notification system that tells you when your food is ready. It took about 20 minutes to get my food, but it was so worth it! The salad was super refreshing and had just enough salad dressing. The lemon curd bite was amazing and had just enough sweetness and a good crunch from the puff pastry. Last, the ricotta toast was so yummy and I enjoyed every bite. Most of the menu was grown on site and if not they use local products as much as possible. The meal was just enough. I did not feel overly stuffed and it was so good. The silver lining of this particular visit? Amid the underwhelming experience, I discovered an excellent saison from Haw River Farmhouse Ales -- the Mille Fleur Rustic Saison.
