It might not be as big of an operation as "BROCKS" by the airport, but Bob's seem to have everything pretty much covered. Plus it's a very short drive/bicycle ride from my house. We came today for some additional veggie seedlings to plant in our backyard planter for the summer. Ya know, since it is starting to get plenty warm outside. Their flats are well organized, it didn't take us long to find what we were looking for. A set bush beans, cilantro and cucumbers. All that for $1.99 a piece?? YES PLEASE!! It makes me hella excited for this summers first harvest. If you're an avid green thumb and love to plant stuff for the summer. And you live in the immediate downriver area, this place is a great spot to go to for all your seedling needs. Now who's excited for the summer?? I know I am. Weeeeeeeeee!!!

Barb was so thoughtful and thorough, wanting to ensure the arrangement looked perfect for my parents. She was super sweet, was asking questions to make conversation as she worked, and also helped me find a card in the store while she was working. Her help was truly appreciated, and I'll definitely be back for more flowers in the future! The price was also great, and I was able to grab a vase too. While I was waiting, I grabbed some cupcakes from Tony Cannoli -- chocolate, bubble cake, and birthday sprinkles. All were very delicious, as always! Six cupcakes were $15 and our family ate every bite!

The chicken for $1.99 pound is that huge steroidal looking chicken, not even cut in half, just thrown in the bag with fat and all on it. The rest of the market is overpriced shelf items. You can barely turn around in there and everyone is in everybody else's way. The cashier didn't even greet me and when I went to swipe my SNAP card, it came up insufficient so she has me go through the process of swiping it again. I thought she read my amount and put it in but it comes up declined again and she just stared at me. She could have read the amount I had off the decline slip but very clearly she didn't want to do anything above her pay grade. Won't be back.

My daughter and I were having a good time shopping and picking out plants. Everything was great until it wasn't. When we got to the checkout we had a couple cut in front of us and I called them out to move to the back of the line to only be informed that these people have previously checked out and wanted to get something else quickly. The cashier didn't ask them to move to the back of the line of people waiting but continued to help them anyways. Which wasn't the worst part of my experience. My daughter was looking for yard decorations and wanted to show me something she thought was cool when a worker yelled across the room "HEY LITTLE GIRL DONT TOUCH THAT!!" Then continued to bend down and get close to my daughters face (who was already froze from being yelled at by some crazy old lady) and continued to tell her the item she was showing me was SO expensive and she would break it if she keeps messing with it. I told the lady she was fine meaning SHE'S OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO TOUCH IT ANYMORE and she looked at me and said "NO ITS NOT FINE" and continued telling her the $30 item cannot be touched by children and wouldn't stop until I told the women I GOT IT!! My daughter is 5. She was in my 5 year olds face and is incredibly lucky I didn't get into hers. My first initial thought was to leave my entire cart and let the rude employee put away the flowers I was shopping for but I ended up buying it so I could just get out of there. She completely ruined our experience and day after that with her horrible attitude. She was brunette wearing a bandana or whatever it was around her forehead. She wasn't nice, she didn't ask nicely, she surely doesn't know how to talk to children or to be professional. So if you have kids and enjoy going to greenhouses with them DO NOT COME HERE. Then....went to check out aldi claim on lower priced ribeyes & guess what?? aldi's ribeyes are also $18/$19 per ribeye. So did not buy aldis ribeyes, went back to Meijer as i needed bounty & other items you cant get at aldi. Will never waste my time going to aldi again. Also when entering the store didnt have a dam quarter for a cart. Who under age 60 carries coins or cash these days???
