It was my first time there and I boy was I surprised by just how much candy is in this place. I have a natural sweet tooth, so I was able to pick up some of my favorite treats. What a great little place to stop and pick up your favorite candy, souvenirs, trinket's, and more. They even have an ice cream shop inside with what I heard is some of the best ice cream to be had! I will definitely be back to give that a try.

I stopped going to that store and started going to Home Rd store but I got some coupons for Park Rd Dollar General and I used them because I took them to the store toward Upper Valley Mall and the coupons were only good for Park Rd. This makes the 4th negative experience at Park Rd. Do not send me any coupons anymore because I'm not going to use them. There are too many other stores to shop at. Meijer, Walmart, Ollies, Roses, Rural King, Aldi, Kroger, Dollar Tree stores, the other Dollar Stores (not General). I had to ask the manager (Carla) who had her back to me until I asked her if she was the cashier then the other girl, whom I usually like but when a cashier is too lazy to swing the bagged item around to the customer instead of reaching over the device while she talks to someone she obviously knew was rude. I know what rude is and they are sour women.

Their food prices are competitive with Kroger. A lot of time, Kroger doesn't even have half the items that I went in for. This store really surprised me! Tons of choices including frozen foods, lots of fresh produce and fresh bread & dairy. The staff that were working were so helpful, and pleasant to talk to. Definitely worth the trip if you just want a few items & know Kroger down the road will likely be too busy, with all of the carts for pickup or delivery!
