    Lots of nice organic produce

This is what my coworker calls an "upper class Aldi". Because if you visit other Aldi's around the ATL area, they do not look, smell or operate like this one. I personally always avoided Aldi's because of the rotting produce, the questionable meat and the less than desirable co-shoppers. This Aldi, however, is the exact opposite. I would say I miss judged the chain years ago, however, my coworkers confirm that this is an anomaly. I even have one coworker who shops here on their lunch break rather than shop at the one near her home. You can find great produce, a great "Never Any" brand of lunch meats that are good for you, even great fixins for a cheese/cracker/meat platter. Like all Aldi's, bring your own shopping bag, rent a shopping cart for $0.25 but it will be returned, and be prepared to save some money.

I am ridiculously happy that Tucker now has an Aldi. My favorite place to shop is now conveniently located close to where I live. This location is by far the best looking Aldi that I've ever been to like ever. The set up is similar to other Aldi's but this location seems to be a tad more spacious than most, so the alcohol section is not as condensed here. The produce was fresh as usual and this location offers all the same prepackaged and frozen foods as the others. Outside of this new store being extremely clean and well organized the customer service is outstanding. All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. During my visit at around 11am on Sunday morning the store was surprisingly very busy and the two lanes that were open filled up quickly so they immediately opened a third lane. Don't forget to bring your quarter for your cart and your reusable bags when you come to shop here. I keep my bags in my trunk so I'm never unprepared. They have bags for purchase as well in case you forget yours. If you have never shopped at an Aldi before I'm sure once you do it will not be your last visit. Hopefully, my wonderful experience will be similar during future visits as this Aldi settles in.

Fantastic items and selections but piss poor customer service. I tried to give them another chance I really did but this is the end.

Southern Belle Farm - Peach cobbler with ice cream

A fun fall date!…read more Southern Belle Farm, located in McDonough, provides hours of wholesome fun and free parking. My wife and I arrived on a warm October day to enjoy the pumpkin patch and U-pick flowers. We arrived in the afternoon, but there was plenty of selection and nothing was "picked over." I paid $16 for a quart sized plastic vase for my U-pick flowers. They sell gallon sized buckets as well. Scissors and water are provided. Be mindful of bees in the field. They won't trouble you if you don't trouble them. There is an area in the back for you to arrange the flowers; I took full advantage of this because this trip doubled as a photo shoot. There were all types of people enjoying the farm; IG girls, families, even one couple using a wagon full of pumpkins as a baby announcement. Pumpkins range from $5-$20 each depending on size and breed. A nice young man named Luke helped us corral our pumpkins and carry them to our car. I didn't know they offered that service, but we tipped well. If you run up an appetite, they have a snack bar with fritters, ice cream, and lemonade. I'll be back next fall!

Parking was calm and plentiful and we weren't bumping into other strawberry pickers left and right. It costs about $20 for a large bucket (which you get to keep) and you pay $1 per person to access the fields. We feared we may have missed peak season but there were still plenty of ripe strawberries to choose from. It is also well organized with the staff directing where folks should go. After we picked our buckets worth, we grabbed a huge fresh lemonade from a parked truck, did some shopping in the cute store, and got a strawberry ice cream. I have to admit this was a bit of a disappointment especially based on all of the rave reviews. To us it tasted like it was pre-packaged and came from the freezer. The strawberries were frozen/rock solid and while they were plentiful it would have been great if they were softer or appeared as though it was fresh churned. Otherwise we really enjoyed the experience and can't wait to go back for picking other fruits throughout the year.
