I've really been wanting a Japanese pancake and found this spot a while ago. It's unfortunately not worth the price. The sandwich for $16 had 2 pieces of bacon, one slice of cheese and one egg. The consistency of the pancakes were ok, they were dry to be honest and had little to no flavor. The staff was very kind and I know this is a franchise but the prices are not reflecting the quality or proportions of the product. Portions seem bigger in pictures and I found it quite pricey. Service was good except they did not honor the promo with a free drink for the weekend with a souffle pancake purchase. They enjoyed the soufflé pancakes, but personally the one in Lavista Rd wasn't comparable to the location in Duluth. Why? Well the one in Duluth gave us 4 pancakes stacked on top of each other while this location was just 2; prices were about the same. Also I've tried the Strawberry now in both locations and the one in Duluth doesn't give an overwhelming amount of cream to where I didn't really need to scrape it off. In terms of texture & taste, the soufflé pancakes were the same, both were good! Regardless I enjoyed it here at Lavista road. They also had some cute decor and seats, which was something the one in Duluth did not have. The facilities were clean and staff were friendly. I not only did not finish the food, it made me sick afterwards. The whipped cream on top and the actual Nutella was watered down. I have never seen that before. Did not taste like Nutella, because they are so cheap, it tasted like water mixed with the chocolate. Funny consistency. I asked for syrup because the fake Nutella was not working. They gave me a container with a pea sized amount of syrup. How cheap can you be? They were to give me another one, never did. Very disappointed. I wasted my money. We ordered three pancake meals with eggs and bacon, and even verified the order with the cashier before paying. About 15 minutes later, only two meals arrived. So let me explain, I may go back and change my review because the signature one had no flavor. Even with the small portion of syrup they give you, like no flavor.
