So I first learned of Trader Joe's when I lived back in Miami a few years ago. It was all the hype…read morethen. My parents specifically lauded its food selection and other things and told me years ago that I needed to accompany them to that store which was located on South Dixie Highway near Dadeland Mall. I have to be honest and say that I absolutely loved that Trader Joe's in Miami. Still wondering who "Joe" is exactly lol but nonetheless, I still enjoy shopping there or just browsing it. The foods are like ridiculously affordable. I remember I first went into the store in Miami when it was Covid times so we had to get our temp taken and use hand sanitizer upon entering and had to wear a mask as well. Those protocols were not necessary at this one because obviously we aren't in covid times anymore but still Inloved the layout of the store over there. I love how they label the prices with sharpie and laminate them for each product. There are a majority of the products that are all Trader Joes brand which isn't bad, but I am used to seeing different variety of goods at stores so only seeing TJ items is a bit different. Granted, I have not heard many complaints about the quality of trader joe's goods and services hence why i gave it a full five stars. The staff at these places always seem to be on the ball and wearing a smile. They are all so helpful. Even the security guard like has a positive vibe going lol but in all honesty, the selection is pretty good. Some of the things I came across in the aisles I was surprised they carried. They also have a pretty decent bakery and wine selection. Unfortunately for me, some foods have been causing me allergic type of reactions where I nearly almost faint which isn't good and I need to get on top of, but that doesn't prevent me from browsinf around. I particularly love the flowers section. I am not sure which one is better, Jewel Osco's flower selection or Trader Joe's. I mean they had a little aloe vera plant right when you walk in and some orchids as well. I love orchids but they can be pretty expensive everywhere. Flowers make me happy so it's nice that they have thise readily available for patrons. In terms of cleanliness and having the shelves stocked, everything is in its rightful place and nothing is really ever out of place. Like sometimes I'll see random things in grocery stores out of place where people will either drop an item off in an area that it doesn't belong in because i guess they change their mind or don't want it (which they shouldn't be lazy and should just walk the few extra steps to put it back in its appropriate spot), but at TJ's they didn't do that. Overall, it is a pleasant shopping experience. I will say that it does get pretty busy at this location, like the aisles are always jam packed so you have to be careful not to bump into someone but people that shop there are even polite which I found interesting. One guy had to reach over me to get something, and he was like "Excuse me!". That is something I am not accustomed to whatsoever. I do wish it was a bit closer though becauze it is pretty affordable in cost and well organized but if i ever wish to go for a brisk walk, going to Trader Joe's would give me a good reason to do so.

While walking around, I kept smelling something really good and basically followed the scent until I found the Baked Cheese Haus booth. Soon as I saw them scraping all that melted cheese over the sandwiches, I already knew I was getting one. I went with the Jambon Cru. Melted raclette scraped over cured ham on toasted baguette with spring onions, baby gherkins, and Dijon. And wow... this thing was a cheesy overload. So much melted cheese, rich, creamy, and warm. The baguette was toasted with that nice crunch, sturdy enough to hold all of it together. Then the gherkins and Dijon came in and cut through all that richness with a little tang and sharpness, which made every bite better. Messy, cheesy, a little ridiculous honestly. The whole market has such a fun vibe too. Busy, lots of people walking around, fresh produce everywhere, live energy all around. The people at the booth were super friendly too. Now I'm seriously about to go to Wisconsin just to find them again.

For those who struggle with information overload at such markets, this one was the perfect size, making for a digestible stroll and an overall enjoyable experience. It was a very hot day but luckily many vendors were tucked away under some trees that provided plenty of shade. We ordered some delicious, meat-forward savory crepes from a stand and some lavender cold brew from Kikwetu (see my page for the individual review!) Dog friendly, kid friendly, and centrally located are just a few perks of the Green City Market. 10/10!

Farmers' Pride Produce has a pleasant, soothing ambiance, and everything here is organized, well-stocked, and clean. It has fresh and high-quality produce, including meat, vegetables, and deli products. They have a daily supply of fresh breads that are locally produced. They also have a wide variety of liquors, such as meat beers and wine. I trusted this store after buying in here for quite a lot of times and I never had a single problem with the items that I bought in here. Other good thing is that it is not crowded and usually if I would go in here, we are just basically about nine to ten people inside including the staff and another good thing is that check out is fast that is why I can leave quickly after getting and paying products that I bought in the store. The customer service is great, especially during check-out, where transactions are done quickly. This is a very convenient store for me, and I highly recommend it.

They also have a fresh butcher selection. I've made their skirt steak into tacos and their al pastor - both delicious. They carry el Milagros everything, which is our personal favorite. You'll find all sorts of different foods and cultures, whatever you're craving for dinner. Definitely worth a stop for wine too. They have a huge selection in a dedicated area of the store. Lots of beer, wine, and coffee. I will say they are priced a little higher than most grocery stores but you cannot beat the convenience.
