I've been coming to this store Basically, my whole life. And I can say as a person with a disability and a service dog. This place is unwelcoming and unaccepting of people with disabilities and service animals. Not only does one of the bigger managers tend to watch me while I'm in the store, but show disdain for me and my service animal by continuously shaking there head at me and watching me. My service dog is a cardiac alert dog.Because I have heart problems and two heart attacks to prove it. It's unfortunate because I grow up going to the store and I personally love it. However, this store is unwelcoming, unfriendly , and biased.So I would not say that this store is disability Friendly nor service dog friendly and if you have either of these just be prepared.

There is a lunch counter, where you can order quesadillas, tortas, burritos, and tacos. There are even a few tables where you can enjoy your meal, and a flat panel TV showing music videos. My husband and I had 2 tortas and a large horchata for $13. You can't go wrong. The tortas were authentically prepared, very tasty, and generously-sized. I hesitated at first to share this hidden treasure on Yelp, but thought there may be other foodies like me, who have moved to this area and are depressed with the dearth of authentic, Mom & Pop options in this mecca of fast food and chain restaurants. Many times in icy weather the stock boy have helped me to get my groceries into my vehicle. Also may I say I find the beef they sell to be great buys and better quality than Meijer. And the produce also is great. In this day and age so many larger stores seem to have forgotten what that word " service" means. But service to me is the difference between average and good!
