Engraving it through…read morethe company had a 3 week turnaround time for them to send it to the headquarters, have it engraved and sent back to the store for pick up...blah, blah, blah. NONE of the Mont Blanc stores or boutiques could recommend ANYONE locally to engrave the pens. I went to things remembered, after i paid they told me they couldnt do it either. Apparently engraving Mont Blanc pens is rocket science and can only be done with a special laser. If you're reading this review, you're in luck because this place has retired NASA employees and the special laser that gets the job done....IMMACULATELY and quickly! LOL! Armondo was so friendly, accommodating, had excellent communication and the quality of work was precise and impeccable. The turn around time was an hour. Now, don't read my review and think they guarantee 1 hour turnaround time. I may have been in luck, or the work load that day wasn't heavy or I may just be so pretty that they skipped all the other orders to get my job done. LOL. highly unlikely. These guys were very fair, honest and seemed to have a lot of experience in the business. Although I was only getting my pen engraved, I had a look around the shop and noticed their other customized crafts. They had wine glasses engraved with much detail, not like a little corny initial. They are able to do logos, make name plates in solo many different fonts and an assortment of other items. This place, I HIGHLY recommend and promise good work. Oh, very important, I know you're probably thinking rocket science equals sky high prices... Absolutely NOT!!! The pricing was soooo reasonable I had to include a tip. These guys are aeesome. Okay I'm done.

Her teaching is so meticulously thought out and the practice lessons are simple yet so precise as to yield excellent results. When she explains the nuances of lettering, breaking down shapes and spacing of letters and and how all of it effects the finished impression, I'll never look at handwriting the same again. When I came to order, the lady (owner) was NOT showing any excitement to have a new customer, didn't even say Hello or Good Morning, just a plain "MAY I HELP YOU?" They also should put a SIGN at the entrance because the 2 dogs are right at the front door and they look scary and I didn't want to enter!! NO apologies whatsoever... just "MAY I HELP YOU?" I explained my purpose and She send the gentleman that I knew for many years. Old sweet man that took the time to explain the outcome of engraving a pen: 1. The letters will expose the metal 2. The letter will expose part of the metal underneath 3. The letters will NOT expose ANY and will not be seen. IT IS AT YOUR RISK! I appreciated the detailed explanation and decided to order. After 2 days, I was surprised by the outcome!! A disproportioned engraving, letters NO centered and the numbers were so close together that they became attached and not able to read. A fine pen has been ruined! To make it worst, they were two of them, one for my wife, and one for me. Her is a little better but also unfinished letters, also NOT centered. I would expect a better outcome coming from a business that has been doing plaques for years! As you can see, the C & A 35 is horrible. Nothing to do at this time.
