We had a delicious lunch here today. My son's Oreo Shake was really good - with the cookie bits…read morestill a bit crunchy. He also ordered Avocado Toast with poached eggs on top, and it was huge! The avocado had a touch too much lemon for my liking, but it was a generous portion. My Irish Breakfast (extra sausage in place of the black and white sausage) was really good as well. My son kept on asking for more ham and sausage off my plate. The food came quickly and the staff was very nice and attentive. There is a huge underground parking lot and if you walk up in the right spot, you'll land close to their front door.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the decor is fresh, clean and modern with a warm feel to it. However, it's the food that blows the other eateries over there out of the water! I have been over there quiet a lot since it opened and each time I have tried something different. The quality and presentation of the food is exquisit and the best part is, it's so reasonably priced! The food is so fresh and the chicken is mouthwateringly delicious and tender. There is a large gluten free range of meals and desserts. The only thing I can faults that their otherwise delicious flourless brownies have nuts in them but that's it! I am definitely making the Vanilla Pod eatery a priority place to frequent!

Sweet potato fries where borderline burnt . Burgers see to have gotten smaller. Milkshake wasn't mixed properly and container seems to have dried in remains of the previous milkshake. Good spot for a greasy burger, cheesy chips and milkshakes…read more Their burgers are average. Lots of different varieties on the menu. Chicken burgers, beef and even veggie, all with a diff toppings. Ther big, so if ur starving, burger def the way to go. Their chips are goooood. Plain cheesy chips are my fav. other good chips are the garlic cheese chips and bacon cheese chips. They have been serving these since I was very young, and they are still as luscious as they have ever been. The milkshake menu if forever growing. What started off as chocolate, vanilla or strawberry has now developed into an abundance of flavour options. Oreo, Apple pie, peanut butter and jelly, Nutella, birthday shake, strawberry cheese cake, brownie... The list goes on and on. My personal fav is the Oreo malt. Yum yummmm What brings me to eddies at the moment tho is their "Itzy nachos". Tortilla chips topped with fresh salsa, cheese sauce, hot jalapeños, sour cream and guac. And at only €3.50 a bowl. They are delllllish. Nachos nachos nachos. I wanna eat them all dayyy errrrry day. Eddies been around for years and years, so I find its always reliable. Good quality, fast food style grub in a fun american diner. Opens quite late also, which can be good and also dangerous, for late night cravings :)

It has a nice airy seating area, in a kind of conservatory style set up. The food is all good, they do a lot of stuff with salads,Paninis, soups and the very edible chunky chips. As well as nice coffee's and very tasty deserts. The cheesecake is meant to be amazing, not a fan myself. Don't be put off by the yummy mummy drummy gang that frequent the place, they're on to a good thing. Open from 10 for a fry up, albeit a poser one. Theres Free tea or coffee before 11 with the breakfast.

I was recently in Dundrum late one morning, so I decided to have breakfast in Cafe Mimo…read more Their breakfast menu wasn't the largest, it only had about 6 - 8 items to choose from, such as vanilla, cimmamon french toast, a bagel with cream cheese, granola, a fried breakfast and something else I don't recall anymore. As I considered my choices, I tried to remember why I haven't been back here since my first time, shortly after House of Fraiser opened. Then I remembered, the noise. The acoustics of the open plan area are horrible. Cafe Mimo appears to be popular with young families, so a lot of the noise is young children running around, so it's very hard to have a conversation while you're there. It also feels a bit odd eating in the middle of a department store, with nothing but a half height glass barrier to distinguish the cafe from the store. The food was average, if slightly disappointing - my french toast was just ordinary and didn't live up to the expectations the description on the menu set. The staff weren't the friendliest, they were brisk and a little surly, but that might have just been the result of a busy Saturday shift still ahead of them. They did appear to initially question why we sent a cup with lipstick marks back (we had no problem with this, neither of us were wearing lipstick). As I left, I considered taking a photo of the 8 or so badly parked strollers at the very front of the restaurant, before deciding that such a shot wouldn't be a very helpful Yelp photo either. My search for decent food in Dundrum Town Centre continues...

Deip at home is like the little sister of the already established Diep le shaker and Diep noodle bar, before the owners decided to branch out with two Diep at home's - the second being in Ranelagh. They do everything from noodles, curries, soups, salads, fried rices as well as various daily specials. I love the krabi Bangkok street food special and as a side, try the delicious roast cashew nuts with chilli, honey and spring onion. Mmm. All mains vary between €10-12 so it is a little more expensive than your average takeaway but if you feel like having a treat at the weekend then why not?

However, 5 years on I was in Blackrock, hungry and with a hankering for Thai, so myself and family ordered and hoped for the best. ...and indeed the best is what we got, I had the red curry which was excellent, wifey and junior had Yellow curry which also went down a treat. We got a combo box for a starter - it included some very odd dried out looking pork belly. It was lovely! really, very much worth trying! All in all, it was a revisit worth making, we'll be back.
