Downtown Turkock location is convenient, but the layout of the studio didn't work for us. The staff at Alegria performing arts is super friendly and helpful. A variety of classes are offered for a variety of different age ranges. This studio has one large room downstairs and one smaller loft room upstairs. Unfortunately the layout and location of the classes didn't work for us. My daughter took her 1st dance class here with another toddler friend. The class was located upstairs in the loft room, which for many reasons was not ideal. First safety, the stairs are tall and there is nothing blocking them. I felt that I needed to stay to ensure my daughter didn't go down the stairs. Second, The area for parents to watch is just a line of chairs in the same room as the children who are taking the classes, we found this to be disruptive and didn't support learning for our daughters. Third, the teacher was nice but there was a lack of strictness/structure. Overall if you have a toddler I wouldn't recommend this studio read more

We love Alegria! There is something for everyone here. This dance studio is exactly what I was looking for. The management and dance instructors foster a positive, friendly and welcoming environment for ALL dancers. I have never seen any unhealthy competition amongst the dancers. They are pretty clear of any "Crazy Dance Moms". My daughter has enjoyed Hip Hop, Cheer, Country Swing & Line Dancing classes. We are starting Jazz in the fall. I signed my sign up for a tumbling class via the Mind Body App. I then received an email stating his reservation was received and to arrive five minutes prior to the class starting. We show up five min prior and no one was present. Another teacher showed up to let us in but of course she wasn't the instructor. We drove 45 min to attend the class just to show up and there's no class. Unprofessional. read more

We love this studio !! My husband an I take country swing lessons a our instructor Gabrielle even taught us the polka when we had wedding to go to. Our daughter loves Daniel for tap and Mackenzie for jazz! Highly recommend. read more

Alegria is such an inviting and welcoming place. Gabrielle is all about positivity and making dance accessible and fun. She is able to make the beginning dancer feel accomplished and the experienced dancer feel challenged. Before too long, you feel like part of the Alegria "family." Such an amazing experience!!! We started our dance lessons with Gabriella about 2 months before our wedding and she was very accomadating with our schedules. She even had a class at our venue to help us get a feel for our first dance at the location. She started off as a dance teacher and ended up being a friend. Coming to these lessons every week was something me and my husband looked foward to. Our first dance was amazing and everyone enjoyed it so much. We looked amazing and loved loved loved our experience with her. I would highly recommend anyone who is getting married to go get lesson with. It's an escape from wedding planning stress and worth it for such a great price. Gabriella made me and my husband feel like family and made the lesson that much more enjoyable!! read more

My fiancé and I signed up with Gabrielle for our first dance a few months back. She has been so patient with us throughout the process. She has been accommodating and always has made it comfortable for us even when we really had no idea what we are doing. We still have a few lessons to go before the big day and I can't wait to see what else she will have is do. We were so blessed to have been referred to Gabrielle! Not only is she extremely affordable, but she has been truly patient yet thorough throughout our lessons! We came to her for our first dance because we didn't want to just sway back and forth. We wanted an intimate dance that we would forever be reminded of when hearing our wedding song.
