My eldest daughter completed her orthodontic treatment at Dr Alborzi's office in Half MoonBay! Her treatment finished faster than estimated because she followed Dr Alborzi's recommendations and advice. What was thought would take 12-15 months, was under 11months. My daughter was able to send her weekly scans and they would communicate back. This made her treatment so easy because she's a student at UCSC and not easy to get her to appointments; so this system worked so well for our family. They have it down to a science. Extremely frustating experience. They Emailed me a bunch of times to fill in paper work with "orthofi". Only problem it doesn't seem to work with safari and apple password manager. This morning they ask me to call customer service but I'm at work. Finally get to the office for the free consultation and they ask me to continue to set up my a/c and fill in a password on their iPad. Er, if I need to remember it, probably best to do it with a password manager, but if I don't have the a/c I can't the consultation, so I had to leave. A really poor experience and so angry that they can't just give me the consultation and we can work out the stupid a/c if I'd decided to go with them. Really poor customer service, no flexibility, do what the orthofi application says or die! read more

I took my daughter in for a consultation recently. The assistants seemed very nice, but Alborzi herself came off as strange with laughing at odd times while snapping harshly at the staff. I was really turned off by the Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard literature. I wasn't willing to give my hard earned money to a cult. Also, her quote was 30% higher than Stasun, the other orthodontist in town. I'm not sure why people like her so much. read more

I am not one of the people who love her. For so many reasons. Gave me a condescending lecture about my use of antidepressants when I was there to talk about adult braces. She doesn't apply the braces herself but has her crew of many assistants do everything then she gives it a looksee after it is done. It looks like an assembly line. I have been seeing Dr. Alborzi for a year now. I have received nothing but outstanding, courteous service from her knowledgeable staff. Being 37 and getting a full set of braces is very difficult but they make it so easy and comfortable. This office always gets you in for emergency appointments as soon as possible; they give you all the supplies you need, information on all types of braces and options. The experience I had with Alborzi orthodontics was extremely terrible. When I first got my braces removed they failed to notify my parents. After I stopped going to Alborzi we tried to stop paying them but they didn't cancel the cards monthly payment. After I decided to get my retainer from another place they still mailed us the retainer and made us pay for it. I was very disappointed with the results. I heard they were great but I was mistaken. I will never go again and I don't recommend it. read more
