Since July we've been trying to get this refund. -- Maybe someone in the business office will get inspired now that I'm posting this issue here.

Dr. Haynam is a Podiatrist, and has been looking after my feet for a little over a year. On my…read morefirst visit my toes were numb, I had hammer toes, and lots of calluses as well as a history of stumbling and falling. He tested my feet, numbness in my toes and, very high arches. He customized some shoe inserts for me, prescribed a very effective foot cream and talked to me about what could be done for my hammer toes. I had the tendon release he told me about. I also did some physical therapy he recommended for me. It's a year later, I've been following his advice, never barefoot, using a gel sleeve on my big toe to prevent blisters and walking more. I have what seem like new feet to me. We did my annual diabetic foot check and it was amazing! I felt every touch with the monofilament tool. Not how it was on my first visit when I could feel nothing on my toes. He told me that it was uncommon to have an improvement like this. I thought it was impossible! But my increase in walking activity and the increased blood flow had improved the circulation and sensitivity in my feet. I am over the moon, first good news this year. Dr. Haynam says that he is "just a foot doctor." It was through his interventions, suggestions and treatments that I had this improvement. I have even gotten pedicures, once a no - no because I couldn't feel and I was embarrassed over the state of my feet. Making an appointment to see him is not the ordeal it is with some practices, his staff is kind, and seem to recognize me, nice. And his medical assistant wears the cutest tennis shoes, we always talk about shoes and where the sales are. She's so sweet, no embarrassment with her, ever. Best diabetic foot expiriance ever.

I had hip replacement surgery Wednesday done by Dr. Hallare. My pre op nurse was named Hannah and…read moreshe was amazing! The anesthesia doctors seemed great although from the moment I was put out I have no clue what went on. Evidently the surgeon and I had a conversation about what music to listen to during my surgery, he said we picked hip hop? Dont remember! My recovery has been swift. Only five days later and my wife and I went to breakfast. Im looking at only missing two weeks! Thanks to everyone who assisted in my surgery and recovery. I also want to mention. Austin Stoker who was nice and he was a familiar face at a time I was pretty nervous. Thank you Dr. Hallare and staff.

1 STAR -- SOUTH KAISER PERMANENTE, THIS IS A JOKE…read more My appointment was at 10:50 AM. It is now 11:50 AM, and I still haven't seen a doctor. No update. No apology. No explanation. Just me sitting here while Kaiser pretends my time isn't worth anything. And let me make something VERY clear: I pay GOOD money for this care. I'm not a Medi‑Cal patient where the system drags its feet because they think it doesn't matter. I pay full premiums. I pay copays. I pay into this system every month. Medical care is NOT free for me, so why is Kaiser acting like I'm here for charity? If you're going to run an hour behind, at least communicate. Respect the people who keep your lights on. Respect the patients who actually PAY for this service. Respect the fact that we have jobs, schedules, and lives outside this waiting room. This level of disregard is embarrassing for a healthcare provider. Do better.
