I brought it into Golden Thread (having read so many positive reviews on Google) and Seba suggested removing 7" from the centre of the gown instead of messing with the beautiful uneven details of the hem. No doubt, this was a complicated task but she pulled it off perfectly. She also took in the bodice a bit, and sewed in "cookies" (booby pads) as well. All turned out great - the dress was a big hit. The kind and patient man running the show also did up my zipper for me after I struggled for like 20 minutes. They asked me exactly what I wanted and made sure the service I requested was clear..The material of the fancy jumpsuit I needed hemmed was complex and painstaking and the price was still really reasonable. Extremely organized and clean space. Air conditioning. Only issue is it's not accessible for anyone with disabilities--it's up a narrow flight of stairs on the second floor. He was able to shorten the straps without cutting the dress so that if I want to lengthen it later I can. He also didn't even charge me!
