They are the gold standard for knowledge, experience, professionalism and patient care. This is not at all like one of the "fly by night operations" opening up all over offering inferior products and care by paraprofessionals. Quite the extreme opposite. I have had several cosmetic procedures with Dr. Covey through the years and have always been extremely happy with the results. Years ago I had Fraxel Re-pair and my husband and I were, and are, amazed at not only the effects, but also the many years it has lasted. At one point when I moved farther away from Dr. Covey's office and wanted to get Botox for my forehead wrinkles, I tried a local dermatologist who was literally around the corner. It was a little less expensive and so close that I thought I'd give it a go. After all, Botox is Botox, right? No. Big mistake. I was very disappointed. It just did not have the same effects as Dr. Covey's and worse still, the effects it had, faded quickly. I don't know why. I also noticed that I really missed the attention and supportive environment I've become accustomed to expecting at Dr. Covey's. Theirs was a very "clinical" feeling. So most recently when I wanted something non invasive to refresh my look, I went back to Dr. Covey for another treatment and after having another tremendously satisfying experience, I feel compelled to write this review to save others wasted time, money, and the disappointment of inferior treatment. This Dr. and the staff he has chosen to surround himself with are just the best. Stephanie, who is Dr. Covey's assistant, and there throughout the whole process with me, is an absolute pleasure. Her expertise, professionalism and warm caring ways put me completely at ease throughout the process. She helped me to actually enjoy my preparatory and recovery times there, making sure I was happy all along the way. I felt that making me comfortable was her utmost concern. I don't know how anything could have been done better. Dr. Richard Reish Botched my Tummy and I strongly regret choosing this surgeon for my tummy tuck…read more After having a C-section, I had a small pouch on my abdomen that I wanted corrected. I found this doctor through Google, and during the consultation he was friendly, attentive, and made me feel confident about moving forward. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely after the surgery. I never saw the surgeon again. Every postoperative visit was handled by someone else, and whenever I asked to speak with him, I was told he was busy with consultations. Instead, I was forced to communicate through his coordinator/personal assistant, who acted as the middle person for everything. When a nurse removed my stitches, I discovered that my entire tummy tuck incision had trapped skin (dog ears/skin caught along the incision), leaving me with a botched result. I was shocked and devastated. I had no opportunity to discuss it directly with the surgeon because he was never available. To make matters worse, I was in significant pain after surgery and couldn't even reach the doctor for pain medication. Despite repeated attempts, I could only get responses through his assistant. Eventually, I had to schedule an appointment with my primary care physician just to obtain pain medication for a surgery that this surgeon had performed. The lack of postoperative care and communication was unacceptable. A surgeon's responsibility doesn't end once the operation is over. Patients deserve follow-up care, answers to their concerns, and direct access to the doctor when complications arise. Because of the poor surgical outcome, I had to seek another plastic surgeon and spend thousands of additional dollars to repair the damage caused by my first surgery. No patient should have to pay twice for the same procedure because of inadequate surgical results and lack of accountability. If you are considering this surgeon, I encourage you to carefully research not only the consultation experience but also how patients are treated after surgery. My experience was one of the most stressful and disappointing medical experiences I've ever had, and I cannot recommend him.

He later recommended a second surgery to correct the issue, this time billing the insurance to cover the costs. However, the surgery also failed . My son has allergies and still can't breathe well, so I took him to another doctor who ordered X Rays. The images clearly show that his septum is still deviated .The new doctor advised against any further surgeries since my son has already undergone four failed procedures on his nose, and additional operations are not recommended . Having a cosmetic procedure which is not cheap and not getting the results you were promised is very disappointing .

Each surgery helped somewhat; however, it was not enough as I am still in search of relief. The nightmare continues as my bank account dwindles. I would trade my discomfort for a visible scar running across my face. Please learn from my mistake, and let me say it is better to feel good than to look good.
