So I went to Dr. B for an upper eye bleph after being highly recommended by my daughter. It is something I have been wanting to do for a very long time but I was always a bit nervous because I have never had any cosmetic surgery. Mine was more of a need than a want(sagging skin that basically hid my eyelid) ...but I couldn't help imagining how it would boost my confidence and make me look more awake. But really I should have started this review by telling you about my first impression when I walked into the office...Wow it is stunningly beautiful in here! Next I was greeted by the sweetest and most attractive girls at the front desk. I immediately felt comfortable and at that moment I was sure I was in the right place for my surgery. Dr B took his time evaluating my situation and really put a lot of thought into the best way to get me the results I was looking for. The nurses and doctors who were in the operating room were very focused but had such great personalities and I could tell they all wanted me to be happy with my results. They only used local anesthesia but the surgery was painless and the swelling and bruising after was minimal. After one week, my stiches were removed and the before and after photos were stunning! 2 weeks later I'm not even "fully healed" yet but you can't even really tell I had anything done unless you look really closely. I just thought to myself...It's only gonna get better? Anyway..bottom line is this is the place you want to come to for your glow up. If you have liposuction irregularities that you are hoping to have fixed the lipo shifting procedure Dr. B does doesn't work, infact it has made things way worse. The emotional pain that this revision surgery has put me in is unfathomable and I wish I never went to this doctor, spent thousands on a revision/thousands on travel + hotel that caused new irregularities to my other leg that was 100% fine before surgery, pigmentation issues in my skin in both legs and worst of all an all time emotional low. Do not get liposhifting with his cheese grater, go to a doctor that can harvest fat, purify it and reinject it into areas that need it. Do not disturb tissue that hasn't been botched to "shift" the fat around like I was advised by Dr. B. Go to an actual revision surgeon. I reached out to Dr. B to see if they could financially compensate me for this experience so I could use that money to try to get what they botched fixed by another doctor, I was sent a email that pretty much said sorry you are unhappy with your results, we give zero refunds, please don't write us a "hurtful review". Yet this doctor can't even fathom the hurt he hes caused in my world. I came in looking to add fat to my right leg - he said we needed to take fat from the other to have donor fat for the right leg. The fat that was taken was taken in such away that looked like a chunk was missing under by bum and on the side of my leg. He shifted the entire left leg (the leg that was completely fine prior to surgery) for what reason? I honestly don't know. I now have the chunk of fat missing from under the left buttocks/and irregularities on the inside of my leg looking like a babies leg (yes it now looks like rolls). The entire back of my leg has indentations all over it. My other leg that we went into fix does look slightly better - but now at the expense of the other looking absolutely horrific. I was so traumatized by what had happened to my other leg I didn't want my follow up appointments, to do what? Be told over zoom to continue to get massages and that he thinks I look great and that my concerns are not valid? I am now seeking revision surgery, councilling for this experience as I came in not happy to begin with, with one area to be catapulted into a whole new level of insecurity and emotional pain by adding all these other new deformities to my body. The entire experience was off, and felt rushed... I should have cancelled the surgery and just enjoyed NY rather then getting botched. My advises from other surgeons to fix the left leg he botched is to Lipo inside of left leg, fill in hollowed/indented areas of left leg and get a mini thigh lift to smooth out the inner thigh. Add fat to under left bum and side. For the right leg to "finish its revision" harvest fat from back/front of leg and fill in inner thigh so it matches the left legs size. Dr. B also said I did not have enough fat to harvest thats why he went to the left leg under the buttocks. I have had multiple consultations with other doctors and many of them have advised I do have enough fat that could have been harvested from entire back, front of thighs, inner left thigh, outside left thigh and arms. Anyways - I don't hate this doctor, I think his intentions were there but the expertise and entire experience was awful and now I get to live with this. He could have helped me by giving my money back to go towards fixing these issues that he has now caused but lacks the integrity to do so (even if I signed a contract, the right thing to do would be to help by giving me the resources to fix what was done). I think if you are not botched and you are an easy case that wants a BBL and light liposuction hes not a bad doctor to go to but I wouldn't trust him with hi definition lipo/ lipo revision/ or girls with minimal body fat. read more

I scheduled a paid virtual consult. After the consult I decided to move ahead with a date. They asked for $1,000 deposit and we scheduled a date. A few days later -- a few days later, people-- I asked if we could reschedule for a date into the future and their office manager told me I would lose my $1,000 deposit. I explained how I was just hit with a $17,000 unexpected bill and she suggested I get credit for the procedure. Seriously? I'm drowning and you want me to add more debt? They seriously weren't able to push the surgery date into the future??? What a horrible way to do business. Clearly they need the money more than I do. I started reading reviews in other places of Dr. Blyer and ultimately they did me a favor by being so money grubbing because in this time I learned that he truly is not qualified to perform the procedure anyway, he is Board Certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. That explains why a recent belt lipectomy surgery of his ended up back in an emergency surgery 2 days after the initial surgery. This is an update to my last review... Even though I live in CA now, I would still only go to Cameo for any procedures, big or small. Last Monday I had a procedure done at Cameo and it came out perfect. Dr. Blyer, Dr. Justo and their staff are outstanding. They always make you feel comfortable during a time that may be a little nerve racking. The nurses and receptionist are very polite and helpful. The Doctor was texting me later that evening, and the next couple of days after surgery, making sure I was doing alright. Dr Blyer aka BFixin was a favorite because I follow him on social media (Snapchat, Instagram etc) I contact the office for a consultation and was bascially told its 9,500 without him even seeing me. I've had lip injections 3 times by Madelyn she is so sweet and listens to my wants. She explained the different brands of the fillers and what is the best for you. The office is gorgeous and the staff is helpful. the only thing I don't like which I'm not sure if it's new or not, the last time I went which was today was the only time it was required and I have been coming here for about 2-3 years, but they charge you a $100 deposit for booking the injection appointment which is a little ridiculous if you pre pay for the syringes, however after my appointment they promptly refunded it back. Yet another issue ! After watching a strange hard lump I had near One of my incision sites turn black than peel than turn red/ pink and is super raw and painful I visited the ER yet again ! I should have know from the minute I walked into Cameo and the girls at the reception desk look miserable and don't say hello. I stuck it out but should have ran...I got the Botox lip flip in about 10 seconds. She ran in and ran out, which is why I had to go back 2 weeks later. After waiting in my car for 30 minutes I had to reschedule for the following day because she was running behind. The next day I go in, same miserable people at the reception desk, still haven't learned to say Hi. I was told by the same girl who did my Botox the first time that there's nothing she can do. If I wanted she would give me 2 more units but it probably won't change the appearance. I explained that my lips look exactly the same way they did 2 weeks ago when I came in and she said well that's all a lip flip is and tried selling me on a filler. What the heck kind of answer is that? I have had the lip flip done before at a different place so I know how it should look. According to her you can pay to get a Botox lip flip but don't expect to see a difference in your lips LMAO. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. HORRIBLE RESULTS FROM THIS DOCTORS UNDER EYE SURGERY (BLEPHAROPLASTY)! I had a Blepharoplasty done by another doctor 15 years ago with great results, but THIS doctor did a HORRIBLE job on my eyes. Dr. Blyer not only left a large area of fat under my right eye but made things worse by injected fat INTO the area near the eye socket ridge of this same eye. As a result I now have ridges of fatty deposits under my right eye, where none existed before, uneven pockets of unremoved fat, and protrusions of fat - which looks like large ugly pimples, under both eyes, which Dr. Blyer told me would disappear as a result of multiple cortisone shots he would give me post-operatively, but never did! Dr. Blyer's awful Blepharoplasty also left me with a lot of loose skin under my eyes which he said could possibly be improved with with a Fraxel Laser procedure, but he said it would cost me a considerable amount of money to have him do this AND he didn't have this equipment in his Manhattan office on an ongoing basis anyway, so it might be months before he could schedule me for this. When you first consult with this doctor he seems sweet and caring, but though he promises satisfaction - and even, early on, assured me he'd be willing to redo my eyes, if it came to that (and implied there would be no charge for this) - when my follow-up months were done he refused to do ANYTHING else. I wound up spending nearly $5,000 more to have another doctor do Fraxel Lasering on my eyes, but it couldn't correct Dr. Blyers awful work and I am stuck with the horrible results of this doctors surgery! read more

I was looking for a place to get a photo-facial done at a place that was near my house and I decided to go here. The place is so nice inside and the staff so friendly and looked like a legit promising place! So much so that I decided to shell out $300 for a photo facial! These are usually $195-$200 anywhere else. But it was my birthday as they had a write up on the website about it being BPL instead of IPL which sounded amazing! Well to start the procedure was painless, Zero feeling at all! Like only flashing light only no zap! I was so shocked that it was zero sensation but assumed this was the BPL way! Well I think the truth is that the machine must not have been on! Zero results! I get photo facials at least 3 times a year and it's always the same, the spots get dark and then flake off and I have flawless skin! Not this time, spots didn't get dark, didn't flake off, were exactly the same as if I never did the treatment at all. Was so sad and a waste of money. Had to go another place to get it done again and at that place, I got 100% perfect results! read more

Great place. I got a groupon for 6 laser treatments here. I'm left with only 4 tiny spots of hair when it used to be much worse. I am very happy with the results. I purchased another groupon for a different place desire perfection which was a "groupon favorite" and I'm already disappointed with the service and will definitely return to cameo to pay full price when the other is finished. my only complaint was that they didn't tell me that you cannot tweeze or wax for 4 weeks before first treatment so I think my first treatment was a waste because I did this 2 days before. I went to Dr Blyer for a ear lope repair, a simple procedure...His he did the stitching no problem and then when it came time to re-pierce my ear, he pierced it to low, did not realize until after the hole had healed, went back to him to have him re-pierce it again and 2nd time he did not do it correctly and now i have 2 holes that are not even with the other-side. I would NEVER recommend Cameo surgery. The women that work in the front are very cold and unwelcoming. On my third treatment for laser hair removal I was burnt badly which ended up turning into a scab and scarring. Despite being on time or early for my first 5 appointments I missed my final appointment in which they wanted to charge me $25 even though I was waiving my final session. I am UNHAPPY with my results and even if I were offered a free session there I would not return. Save your time and money and go some place else. read more

I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Blyer. All I wanted him to do was lower my bump, and fix my deviated septum. I know he lowered my bump, but as far as fixing the deviated septum- he definitely did not. It was a closed rhino procedure meaning he didn't have to lift up my entire nose and scale down but he worked through my nostrils. I have no idea what he did because as far as I know its only been a few years since then and I look into the mirror and still see a deviated septum.I remember I asked him why and he said it was the lighting. Really? He sure had me fooled! The reason all the staff are so nice is because they're paid so well and are paid to act this way and lure clients in. Think about it- how good can a doctor be at doing your specific procedure when he's pulling wisdom teeth the hour right before your surgery, or injecting lips, and removing scars, then doing butt lifts, and then going to fix a nose?I paid 7,500 and his unlicensed nurse/gf Anastassia told me this was a good deal. Um, not true, I was beyond ripped off. I will get my septum redone by an amazing doctor ELSEWHERE. DO NOT BE FOOLED. EVERYONE IS TOO NICE= Beware. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND DO NOT BE FOOLED. I never write reviews but I joined yelp just to warn others about Cameo Surgery Center. In my experience, the staff there is extremely rude and unhelpful for no reason. When you call politely with a concern or question you are treated as if you are a substandard of human being. I had a surgical procedure there with horrendous complications and the staff was unwilling to help. My calls would always roll to voicemail when I called from my cell phone. If I called from a number they didn't recognize only then would they answer me. I have been lied to, hung up on, ignored and strung a long for far too long now. I did nothing but show up on time, pay out of pocket in full for my procedure and be polite to them. These are a group of very interesting people to say the least. In my opinion they all deserve each other as one is worse than the next. Anastasia is particularly horrible to deal with. Upon telling her I was having major bleeding and feared an infection after my surgery she laughed at me and told me they were too busy that day to see me. Obviously I will not be going back to Cameo Surgery Center. I have often wondered how this office continues to do business as they do. My guess is the groupons keep them afloat as they have to be losing as many clients as they receive. Please heed my advice and take your business elsewhere. read more

So since I was young I always hated my body, I felt my butt was not big enough, wanted my body a little contoured. So I was introduced to Dr Scott Blyer, the doctor with the amazing personality and great smile, but no competence. Naive me, thinking just because his staff was amazing and his wife so warm welcoming that this is the place I should put my trust into, they made me feel right at home. It was until I went home after my BBL, the amount of pain was nothing to too off the feeling of going through all of this to only look and feel worse. He completely butchered my body, my stomach looks like children hand prints in play dough, I have more indents in my back than someone who weighs 200lbs. All these people care about is getting the check, that is all. Don't get me wrong he offered to fix it, but told me he didmt want to do a tummy tuck because it would be more difficult so instead he wanted to take the easy way out, but then still not guarantee anything to look better, comforting right?
