I have always had a fear of dentist because of past experiences which were very painful. I researched top dentist in Maryland and I came across Dr. Kuzmak, Towson View Dental Care and decided to give them a call and make an appointment. I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. The lady on the phone was kind and helpful, and gave me detailed instructions on how to find the office when I came for my appointment. The office was nice, the waiting room had coffee, tea and water. Everyone I encountered at the front desk was incredibly friendly. I was x-rayed and then Dr. Mann came in to review that and do some other sensitivity tests. He was thorough, informative, and I really felt like he cared about what was best for me. Ultimately he did not feel that I needed a root canal at this time, and it was refreshing that he was honest and didn't try to sell me a service I didn't actually need.
